After viewing your video, I was wondering if you could assist me with a problem I have with my 2012 Buick: the heating doesn't turn on when I start it with the remote until I insert the key into the ignition. Is this typical, or do I need to adjust something?

TheMochaangel - I just bought a used truck and remote start works great, but like you, I never thought to ask about actually driving it after using remote start. I'm gonna ask today.

Not sure if they have changed something on the newer models, but on my 2009 Enclave I just push the lock button ONCE, then hold down the start button. Why would you have to push the lock twice? You can view my video of my vehicle starting up with remote start, and you can hear the lock....and no horn, because I didn't push it twice, then I held down the start and it worked.
