How do you program a remote for a 2012 Buick enclave?

I was a little nervous about doing this. My remote for my 2008 Buick Enclave wasn't working too good and I lost my second remote several years ago. Was having trouble with it locking & starting it ... just didn't seem to be making the connection. I ordered a remote on line and finally today went out & programmed it. Wow ... so easy. Great tutorial and thank you so much for posting it.

You do not need a working fob. You only need a working key that will start the car.

Just got a new key fob. Don't have the old one and it won't program 2008 Buick Enclave cxl

This is the correct programming for the 2008 Enclave. Perhaps you received the wrong remote? Could also be an issue with the receiver in the car. You can also go by auto parts store and have them test the remote signal to be sure remote is working correctly.

Unfortunately there are no do it yourself programming instructions available for this remote model.You must take this remote to a dealer or an automotive locksmith for programming.

Unfortunately that is true... This remote must be programmed by a dealer or car locksmith in your area. However, it takes less them 5 minutes to program the remote, so do not let them overcharge you.
