How to use the Specimen Card Notebook by Peg and Awl

The world is bursting with magic, and for anyone looking it positively pulses! I collapse into my pillow - nearly daily - with my thirst for the world unquenched; books unread, things not drawn, conversations not had. It is like traveling to somewhere and not seeing everything, thereby loving the trip all the more for the possibilities of next time.
As we settled into the newness of the 5 Acre Wood after moving out of Philadelphia in 2018, Søren, Silas and I began investigating plants, creatures, mushrooms, rocks, and back of the fridge anomalies. It was a way to draw, write, and get to know, with a little more scrutiny, the beings sharing this world with us. What began as a homeschool adventure, is here now, as a notebook of 20 perforated cards for your observations or imaginings of the world around you, be it indoors or out!
