One day, I lost control of my body. While sober and still being fully conscious, God started speaking to me and He said "follow me or die." I don't know you or what you've been through, but you matter. I grew up in church always hearing about God but I decided to do my own thing. Doing drugs and chasing girls, among other things. I did it for years and I was depressed for years.. after being arrested I stopped doing drugs... that's when God scared me straight, for years I had the opportunity to accept Jesus as Lord but I never did, so God had to wake me up. After all these years I'm glad God said what He said. It was like someone pushing another person out of the way of a speeding car, to the person that was pushed it might seem rude.. but after that person gets a hold of themselves and looks back, they will realize that they needed to be pushed. Jesus Christ loves you and so do I. God bless you

Thank you! Can you recommend a good commentary? I was looking at the Mark Henry (6 books) and John Corson. Then I looked up Corson, and I didn't like what I read about him and his son and then a friend said that it could still be a good commentary. I don't know. I like a deep dive. I have study bibles, I want something more.

I have been using the Strongs concordance for about 5 years and I love it. It has been so helpful, but I have been looking for a website or someone to explain where Mr. Strong got the information from specifically to be able to explain it to someone else that I might share the information with, in case a person asks me about it where he got the information from. I have been searching on the internet and I can't find anything. Can you do a video on this question?

No offense, but this is not the way that Strong’s Concordance was intended to be used. Watch my short video, where I tell you why, and then show you from the Publisher’s own instructions in the concordance itself. The way that you and millions of others are using it goes against Professor Strong’s design of the concordance. In fact, he was not a Greek or Hebrew scholar and was not qualified to define words for you and I. Respectfully, Angel Arellano Jr.
@banclaster80868 ай бұрын
The concordance is great. Skip the lexicon at the back. It's not the Bible
@accordingtothescriptures34708 ай бұрын
@banclaster8086 The concordance is not the Bible either. It was written in Greek, Hebrew, and Aarmaic. It merely one effort among many to convey the meaning of words. This is why they are constantly being revised. "Don't many of you seek to be teachers, knowing that we shall incur a stricter judgment" (Jms. 3:1)
