Ok. I wasn't quite sure how to do the Trace feature. This was exactly what I needed to know. The "outline" was something I just couldn't figure out. Thank you for sharing.

You used 3 different mediums, how did you engrave and cut without changing your wood settings per item, acrylic, tile, wood?

I didn’t need to. The thicknesses of the mediums worked out. There are LOTS of charts on settings for materials and thicknesses on the Glowforge forum page if yours differ.

Can you capture the design - and save it ? So you can remove the paper and put in a large piece of material ?

Yes. It will save and you can name it in the GF user interface to make it easy to find in the future and you can resize it as well. 😊

Gavi yes. I used the medium basswood plywood settings for all 3 because they were very close in thickness. You could alter each but in this case it wasn’t necessary. 😊 Thank you for watching as asking!
