Agree with the comments - we need a retrofit option for us who bought bikes in 2021 on the older display format. My turbo Levo SL was a big investment and for a £7500 bike I would expect to be able to buy upgrades like this.

The lock feature should be available for any Specialized ebike not just the $7,500+ brand new models.

Totally agree ! I was robbed of a Specialized Turbo Levo in 2020 year . I already own the third Specialized Engine Assisted. for more than 15000 euros of total expense If this device were available for all specialized accounts maybe we would have saved a lot of money and troubles:: THINK ABOUT IT!

I wish they would update this function so you could set it to automatic so it locked every time you turn off the bike. Also would be nice to be able to lock/unlock without the use of the app. Currently you can only unlock using the buttons but have to get your phone out, open the app and select lock to lock it.

Habe ein 2021er Modell mit dem alten Display. Hätte das auch gerne. Für 7000 Euro sollte es möglich sein. Die schrittweise Erhöhung von 10 % mehr Leistung das ist auch super.

i wish it would lock the pedals as well... people can still steal it and ride as a normal bike.

New TCU works with older Levos for some and doesn’t for other even on the newest firmware, but for those that doesn’t I think it has to do with the firmware mismatches between the motor , the old and new tcu. There are multiple threads on this. I agree with above comments, this should be natively backwards compatible, especially when you drop close to 10k on a new bike but all we get from specialized is a bright yellow disclaimer on their website that it doesn’t work and a greedy hand asking for more money.

Eine automatische Handyerkennung wie bei Vanmoof wäre gut, weil sonst viele nur kleine Zahlen als Code verwenden. Ein richtig lauter Alarm mit >100db bitte

I wonder if they wasted money on patents for this so it will stop others making the same mistake.😁.Please concentrate on reliability, adjustability,handling and best suspension and components .Also silence is golden so revert back to powerful smooth 2018 Aluminium1.3 motor with improved water sealing ,belt and bearings.What did they know then that they don't know now 😉.
