Hello Gary. I am new to VE2300 and I found problem which I need help with. If during design, I have some destruction (hoop hit something on the table, or break needle or piece of cloth stacked under needle) I fix the problem. But after that, design destructed and move up or down or left or right in half inch or even further. At one point, I even hit border of plastic hoop and break needle. I never have that problem on my previous Brother machine. The only way I know is re-set design again and start from step where I get in trouble. This method is not good if I combine 2 designs and forgot which one I increase and in what direction. Question: Can I use pen you demonstrated to place design on spot I desire and size I desire? Do you have a video to demo pen with design, not with letter

Yes you can use the pen for any stitch file. If your hoop gets fowled in someway and the design shifts out of sync then you have to restart the machine to reset the hoop position otherwise you will probably stitch into the hoop itself. Usually the machine will resume at the correct position but not always for all sorts of technical reasons. If you need to start again and resume at a point in the design, this can be difficult unless you have exactly the same file to start with. If you resized the design in the machine but don't know exactly what size it was then it's even more difficult. Best way is to print a template of the design on tracing paper, overlay it on the existing stitch-out and mark your centre and angle. Then use the pen to set the position. I've done this but unfortunately don't have a video. It is however the same process as this video. Cheers Gary
