Hi, you can only view your recordings by removing the SD Card from the camera. Format the SD Card to 'Ex-fat' before use. This will allow the camera to take longer video's. Also before removing the SD card from your viewing device go into your file settings and use the 'unmount' function. Hope this helps.

Looks like a good design. Much more convenient than my current camera where you have to use a tool to get the end cap off and you can't turn the camera on or off without taking the cap off. Have you tried fishing for flatfish with the Escape Cam (dragging a rig along the bottom from a drifting boat)?

Thanks for your feedback! It´s no problem to use the EscapeCam for drifting or trolling, as well as for casting. Use the DiveLip that´s supplied with the cam to get it further down and the Y-Fin to stabilize your recordings. Combined, you can tweak your set-up for your needs - whether that´s high speed trolling for Wahoo or slow drifting for Flatfish. Team Westin Cam

This is a good point. But I won't even use a lure that costs more than £5 for fear of losing it.
