I have the LaserPecker4 which is a very similar dual laser. Wendy's idea of using the laser to stencil the stones prior to settings is absolutely GOLD! cant wait to try that on some pave work, cheers

Would you be able to demo inside ring engraving of hallmarks?? I have not seen anyone test it's limitations with engraving logos (1-2mm in height) inside rings. :)

With the right configuration of laser and greffics you can achieve wild result with the 20w laser. Im talking about -cutting- via 1 mm metals, having deep lifelesting engraving and far beyond. Good luck 🍀

I’m curious if the depth of laser cut is enough where helps steady the path of a hand graver for those of us who are new to engraving and don’t yet have a pneumatic graver…or may slip a bit because we are novices?

The engraver does a great transfer but I wouldn’t say that it’ll steady the path. I engraved for many years by hand only and it takes some time to learn the skill. Keep at it and go slow with short cuts to starts off and you will soon get the hang of it. The engraver does a great job at transfer though.

Hello dear! I’ve been using this machine over a week already but I can’t get to a darker engraving on stainless steel, i’ve seen people use a spray, would you recommend that or what settings do you recommend me for engraving pictures on stainless steel? Thank you in advance! Great video btw🎉🎉

We are jewellers and we bought the machin too be able to engrave on rings but we are not able to make it work, and the Customer service is horrible!!!! they do not answer and cant help bcouse they only speak Chinese. can you help me please?

How deep can it engrave in stainless steel can it do corrosion engraving perhaps 🤔

It sounds like it would engrave, say 14 karat, on earring posts? How would one set them up to do a batch?

That would work - we are still learning how to get the most out of this machine but I’ve spotted some content out there recently showing just that. Have a look at their instagram page 👍🏻

Hello! I was wondering what colour is the finish of the laser engraving? Is it always dark/black. With other laser engravers, I have seen a much lighter finish, nearly white. Thanks!

Hi William, thanks for your question. We’ve learnt a lot about the machine and are continuing to understand it with time. It varies and tends to start out lighter and go darker depending on how many passes you apply. It depends on the strength, laser type and material of course. We’ve been making good use of it, especially on stainless steel and glass lately. 😊

Based on the videos I've watched so far, the more passes made, the darker the result becomes. If you set the laser to a slower setting, it will work longer, resulting in a darker outcome as well, the faster you want it done, the lighter is the color.

I think you would find the Rotary tool especially useful for inside ring engraving, bangle engraving and more. This is something we have acquired recently and it's made a massive difference and allows us to do more with cylindrical shaped.

⁠@@jacothejewellerCan it print/engrave with colour if printing a photo? Is Rotary a different machine or an accessory? I’m looking to start a small jewellery biz so will need one that can engrave. Too bad it can’t cut metal or perspex

Is it recommended for id bracelts and inside of the ring in a long run.?

It works well for this - it doesn’t do a very deep cut though and so, won’t give the same longevity as, say, hand engraving / machine engraving.

It won’t have the same lifespan - but it’s a good option to have to give the client 👍 it does take a bit of effort to remove the engraving with a piece of sandpaper in hand

we bought this to engrave on rings but its complicated and there is no customer service. they make you waut 48h and still no one can help. dont buy!

I like to work with my hands like you, and I'm not really a co.puter guy.. Are you? How is the ease of use for somebody with only basic computer skills?

I do a fair bit on the computer but the software is really easy to use - perhaps we’ll do another video on that in the future and focus on that side of it but I would say it’s very straight forward and user friendly 👍
