Thank you. Absolutely no reason why this has to be glitched. Just let players transform outside of battle. It’s purely aesthetic and doesn’t give the player and gameplay advantages. I guess you’d be able to start battles in that transformation. But just make it so free roam transformations are only unlocked once you have the auto skill for that transformation also unlocked. No good reason what so ever this wasn’t implemented earlier. I do get that maybe they didn’t think of it. Like maybe they didn’t realize in development that players want to fly around in transformations. Any dragon ball fan would want that, but I’ll them the benefit of the doubt here. No excuse though why they didn’t release a patch implementing this. I can’t imagine it would be a lot of coding or work in their end and would make so many players happy.

Honestly this is why I still feel the Legacy of Goku 2 is a superior game. Cause even in that game you could transform at any time you felt like and even fly around in that form. Also there was no loading screens lol.

Kiaoken doesn’t really work, the icon on the bottom left says you’re kiaoken but you’re base goku, everything else I’ve tried works! :D

That means Kaioken uses an aura effect rather than a reskin of the character - Imagine SS from vs. SS with glow and lighting effect. I didn't get the time to play these past few days but there is a way you can transform and still keep the SS aura. I did it with Gohan. I suppose doing Kaioken with that trick will keep Kaioken in free roam.

The glitch does work for me. However once you go to a different part of the world map (Like going from Kami’s Lookout to Goku’s House), you will change back to normal so you’ll have to do it again

Good video. This situation happen to me as well (not in the same way though). It was after the Frieza arc and while playing as Goku ( when he returns home from Yardrat) I did a training mission and after that I was still in Saiyan form. I just wish they just let us be in the form whenever we want lol.

Just so you're aware, I was free roaming as ssj2 Goku and when I was fishing, the eyes of ssj2 Goku we're glitched and looked weird. Like a bit of a base Goku look but not at the same time. Try it if you want though

This is really precised because while i did get the transforming animation i still reverted to my base form at the same moment, also this doesn't with fusions, i tried fusion as soon as the battle ended & while it seemed to work at first i defused very litherally the moment i fused, & the only method i know that glitches fusions into free roam is the 1 where you entered a normal training session which after beating a battle from, you can't replay that battle, so because of the horde battle training grounds from DLC 2 (which has been used for the versus mode mod) you might be able to still do this after getting all of the skills in, but not in the base game which is dumb because of multiple party related reasons like playing as only gotenks (like when you fight super buu (no absoption)) or vegito & gotenks at the same time (like the second last villianous enemy team does)

And if you do the Super Spirit bomb and finish the fight with a kamehameha you still will be able to stay in any SSj form with Kakarot ❤️

I absolutely love this game when it came out and I’m just about to get into the rules are good in the campaign and let’s just say life got a little crazy, and bunch of different games that I love came out I haven’t played Kakarot in probably about 5 months - I gotta go back tonight - figured I’d be ready to do DLC one deal seetwo drops I could probably be leveled up enough to take it on

Enjoy your time with it. Next DLC should probably release around November. Until then you can play the base game and DLC 1 for roughly 100 hours of total playthrough if you do everything in the game :)

Okay, no one has pointed it out, but if you use say SSJ3 for this glitch, you will keep it after battles, so if you enter a second battle and switch to SSJ 1 or SSJ 2 the game registers Goku's base hair as Kaioken, but now after the glitch it's gonna be the SSJ 3 hair, it'll only switch in battles, however, if you revert, your hair stays the transformed way, but if you enter tension mode or drive the car or even use the bipedal robot, his face goes SUPER derpy, I can't take it seriously! Lol.

GUYS! this works perfectly without a party if you have the super spirit bomb ... just hop into whatever form you wanna roam in, and get the last guy down to low health, then just keep zapping away with dodge to get distance, launch the super spirit bomb, then hold the transformations tab to enter slow mo, and wait it for it to hit.. the second it does just transform into another form and the timing is so much easier

As I said in the video, there are multiple ways of doing it. However, the one shown in the video is the best. With Super Spirit bomb you're stuck with using it only on Goku. There's also another method of doing it using training grounds but that also falls short because most people already finished all the training missions.

It’s a small thing, but for Super Saiyan 2, Goku’s eyes get fucked up if you try and fish while transformed (Super Saiyan would likely be fine bc of the Cell Saga, but I imagine Super Saiyan 3 probably has similar problems). Makes me wish this was an actual feature of the game so I wouldn’t have to worry about that, especially with the Auto Transformation skills already existing

i somehow just did it without the party, but it took me several hours. when i finally did i still had the glowy shine on the model, and including the super saiyan aura whenever i flew. Plus the ki bar kept refilling every second.
