How to use Trigonometry functions on the Sharp EL-501X calculator

Here I was thinking I was doing something wrong but finds out that the calculator which looks very similar had a small change with the new model I have here. So for cos -1, you need instead press 2nd F and 7. My calculator is EL501X2.

Hi, when I did the inverse my calculator gave me different numbers, my teacher told me to change the function on it because it works like the calculator on an I phone but I don’t know how to do that. It is the same calculator model

Hi There! Do you mean that when you are trying to get CSC(30) like at 2:07 you get a different number? What are you getting as an answer?

Hi Kimmy. Could you elaborate on your question? Do you mean how to find: 10 times sin (30°)? If so you would press: 30 [Sin] [X] 10 which should give you a result of 5 Let me know if this answers your question, or if there is anything else.
