Hey there, thanks for watching my videos! Technically the spray pain isn't a dye. It doesn't dye the fibers. Here's what I learned from the FAQ's: If the garment or fabric can be machine washed, turn inside out and use warm water on gentle cycle with a mild detergent and fabric softener in a warm rinse. Cold water may cause fabric paint to crack. Line dry.

I’ve never washed it but most spray or fabric paints are up for a gentle wash. I suggest read the manufacturer directions fir washing.

Depending on how big the piece is you might go ahead. I think the cabs are good for small to medium sized pieces. I actually sprayed 4 medium to large sized poufs today. I used 8 cans to do all 4. No I didn’t spray a finish. No bleeding. No washing. It also repels water after a few weeks of dry time. Not that it’s completely water resistant, but the water beaded up on the surface versus soaking in immediately.

No it didn’t make it harder. This was a cotton/poly blend fabric so the paint was able to absorb well. On a poly only piece I had to use multiple light coats drying in between each coat to get a nice coverage. I guess because the poly fabric isn’t as absorbent as the cotton. Great question!

No...Don't use tulip. You will just keep spending money buying cans of tulip spray. I am in my 7th can now and the job is not even done. One single couch.

You really should use gloves you should also use goggles to protect your eyes and try not to do projects like this when it's supposed to windy day and a mask could be helpful doesn't get into your lungs as well

$12.71 for 8oz can.....5 cans for what your doing = $63.55 before tax.....createx airbrush paint 16 oz. any color opaque $16.99....airbrush $20.00 =$36.99 now you tell me where the savings are? your wasting tons of money especially when the airbrush paint gets cut in half which makes 32 oz. of paint.....enlighten me please!!!!? im sure someone you know has a small air compressor or you can buy one from home depot or lowes or even a thrift store or yard sale for around $10-$40 .... at max that would be $78.00 hardley more cost than spray paint.....and you could do 3 of your cushions instead of one! whos saving what?
