make sure you set it up properly, plug the USB soundcard first, then open OBS and change the source of sound to your USB soundcard. connect your microphone and see if the signal comes into the OBS.

Tried connecting my BOYA BY-M1 external Lav Mic to the same sound card ur using and plugged it in. For some reason the mic just won't be responsive. However when used with a phone the mic works fine. Tried with both the battery on/off. as well as updated the drivers. and sound cards working fine as it splits my headphone's mic and works perfect. I cannot connect using the 3.5mm jack as I use line in with Aux to push my phone's internal audio into PC using that and was hoping to use the external mic with a sound card. Could you help me with this issue?

Hey Krishna. With BOYA BY-M1, I'm pretty sure it can work, just make sure you choose the right input when you configure it inside your OBS, if the audio input signal doesn't show up, try clicking the setting button on any visible audio input, for example Desktop Audio, click the icon setting on the right down corner and select the USB soundcard. See if the signal from your mic comes in. Trying to push your phone internal audio into PC using this sound card isn't a good idea, you'll definitely get the signal but it will be really really bad. It doesn't convert digital to digital audio really well, that's why you'll get a broken sound.

You might need an audio console to do that, however, it has to have a usb audio codec, plug in your phone into the audio console and from the console to FL Studio, I’m afraid there will always be delay tho

Does this work with a lapel mic with 3 lines in the jack?

yes it does... you have female xlr jack inserted in the mic and a 3.5 mm to insert into the soundcard... you have to do some soldering though...

You might need a splitter for that, splitter will separate whether you want your headphones mic to work or the the headphones themselves which means mic will not work
