Pulling handwheel out disengages motor from the stitching mechanism; pushing it in engages them together. This feature is helpful for spooling thread onto bobbins as mentioned in Usha Janome's user manual, but it is optional to do so, as lifting the foot prevents any damage to the foot or the dogs. But still this can be done whichever way you find convenient.

Kaaj ji size aap manually adjust kar sakte ho, silai hue khud hi stitching rok ke button ka mode change karke, yeh sab dikhaya hai video mein. Yeh machine mein bhi foot pedal aata hai joki same purani waali machine ke tarhe hi kaam karta hai.

Maine bhi ghar ke liye li hai and kaafi achi kaam kar rahi hai aaj bhi. Aur haan, ye zaroor khareedi ja sakta hai, channel pe main sirf ache products hi daalta hoon jo mujhe pasand aate hai. Repairing ke liye company baithi hai toh vo behtar jawab de sakti hai, kyonki ab tak mujhe repairing ki zaroorat nahi padi.

I was exited to watch this demonstration. Seems very useful for beginners, I think. I noticed the machine makes rather loud noice as I do have JA1506 since 1992, it is very quiet I can even use my machine till late night without disturbing my neighbours. I am so happy with the machine. It is still working fine, neverever given me any problem. My machine is also very small compared to original USHA machines that I have used in INDIA. Well, being small in size, I don't think this will give lesser performance! Also I felt that you have not loosen the knob on the right side and the needle kept moving up and down as if actual sewing is going on. I am sure the feature is there but you missed out in using it. I hope you could check this out and if that feature like turning that knob towards our side, the needle would not move while you are feeding the bobbin. Thanks for your video. Congratulations to USHA signing up the contract with JANOME for 20 years!

Yeh machine company ne waise gharelu upyog ke liye banai hai, lekin yeh kaafi achi quality ki machine hai jise zyaada bhi istemaal kara jaa sakta hai. Agar aapka bohot hi heavy duty commercial kaam hai toh isse zyaada well built machine aati hai aap vo kisi dukaan se le sakte hai kyonki online ghar baithe vo aapko nahi mil payegi lekin unki keemat bhi badh jaati hai. Yeh machine keemat ki hisaab se sahi hai, rahi baat zyaada istemaal karne ki toh isko aap ache se saaf rakhna (kapde ke roye ko saaf karlena, ispe video ayegi baadmein) aur oil lagate rehna, isse life badegi. Bas motor ke brushes badle jayenge kuch saalon mein, vo company service center waale aapko uplabd kara denge. Baat rahi service ki, abhi tak mujhe service ki zaroorat nahi padi isiliye is baare mein main aapko zyaada kuch nahi bata paunga. Mujhe khushi hui ki aapko video pasand aai! Isi tarhe ke gharelu cheezon pe main video banata rehta hoon channel pe aap aur bhi video dekh sakte hai.

Usha Janome Dream Stitch is better because you can buy it from cloudtail directly whereas for Singer you have to buy from a dealer. My experience with earlier order placed with a dealer was pretty bad, so I don't recommend you that. Regarding product quality, both machines should be at par, but since I haven't used Singer 1408, I can't comment with absolute certainty. I try to most of the work by myself, however I don't like stitching at all but nowadays you just cannot easily find anyone reasonable for anything you need to get done. You can buy different sized needles from a shop that keeps sewing machine related stuff or even online.

Patle kapde pe tension kam rakho, below 5, mote kapde pe zyaada rakho, sirf oopar se hi adjust karna hota hai, usse bobbin ke thread ki tension apne aap set ho jaati hai.

It's very helpful. Aisi video dekh k mughe ye bhi idea mila ki needle bhi change kerni hoti hai fabric k according. M same needle se hi kerti hu iskie shayad thin fabric (silk or satin)m stiching nahi ati proper.

Mostly 3-5 mein theek rehta hai, hard fabrics mein 7-10 aur soft mein below 3, but again, exactly kitna rakhna hai aapko practically stitching karte mein dekha padega. Silk mein lowest tension rakho aur kam number ki needle use karo.

Yeh wali normal sewing machine se better hai. Isko chalana easy hai agar seekhlo aur stitching ki quality achi deti hai. Alag alag modes bhi helpful hai.
