I've been driving around town and hwy for a week now and it's going back to the store. It never goes off when passing a cop. And the speed cameras on the streets it picked up 1 of them and i passed multiple. I would not recommend this product to anyone

I just got mine and when I plugged it into my van it kept telling me K was full and beeping full blast. Could not stop it no matter where I placed it or if it was on city or highway mode. Not sure if something in my van is making it go off but I’m not sure how it will work if it never stops beeping

It depends on the area you are in. if there is not much cctv it dont really beep. most of the camera is high up on a lamp post. its hard to notist the camera while your driving. when it beeps, the camera might be shooting from the front, if you dont see any camera in front, check the back or side of you. Put it in City mode and you can mute it for 10 seconds by pressing the + button.

Do check if there's any camera or CCTV, auto speed trap camera high up a building or lamppost. Can detect up to 500 metres away.

Don't waste the money on this. The cheapest you can go for one that detects radar and laser is about $50. At that price it will not beep at every motion detector you pass at a store entrance or pick up on other cars collision prevention systems that also use some type of k/ka band.

All of this similar detector comes from China. It can only detect radar signals. It can't detect laser. It's about $9-17 only. If you bought it at $50 it's quite a high price. It might beep at motion detector at the storeentrance or car collision prevention system if you are close enough. Its ment to pickup radar signals from Police speed trap radar guns and AES camera with Radar trigger system. It can detect can detect the signals from 500 meters away.

I was the First ever to Receive & Review it. They are often Sold in Red as fake 'C's it has No Infrared Sensor In side, very bad Fakes also . Trouble is I've seen them Sold for $120 plus. Not Good!

These are junk and down work at all. They beep at semis and thats it. Even then its only half of the time. Passed multiple state troopers and never went off once. Ive tried 5 different detectors none of them work

The detector only detects radar speed trap guns. The detector won't be able to detect Lazer speed trap guns. Most probably they are using Lazer type because it's more accurate and longer range. You can check with your local enforcement what type of guns they use.

In most part of the world it's illegal to use this detector because it prevents law enforcement to open you a ticket that will generate income to pay for their salary and bonuses.

@@Deathurway22 most likely they're using Lazer guns instead of radar types. If they are using radar type guns you will be able to pick up the radar signals from 500 meters away.

Bottom of the barrel as far as radar detection but it does work and has a few times for me. Even if police are just in the area I've had mine go off. I leave it on highway mode. It also seems if it's going off around the same car, they may have one installed.

Leaving negative feed back on KZbin is Wrong channel to leave a complains. It does not help your situation. You should leave the feedback in your sellers website or the website you bought this unit from. Its defective. Get a refund or a replacment from your seller.

YES ALEX biggest load of rubbish ever purchased, never picks up and radar static cameras,,,,,,,,nor any traffic police in "hiding"..........do not buy, I had a previous "alarm" .....made by NOVUS..PICCOLO...made in Korea...it gave a warning approaching a ..camera......night and day...when turning the ignition on,it said welcome,,,,,,,,never ever failed me in all the years that I had it in use,,,,,,,,,,,,it finally went kaput......could not renew,,,the company apparently no longer available.....

Don't use it if you care about not getting a ticket, some of these detectors didn't go off until the user speed was already clocked!

Yes correct. The higher speed u go the lesser chance u get to react to slow down when u hear the warning from the detector. Go moderately above the speed limit so got ample time to slow down. Usually it can detect any speed trap gun 500 meters away.
