another great method, one thing though, what if you have 2 PCs and in the second one you have more drives wich makes your USB drive another drive letter than the one in the plugson file, couldnt you simply put the autounatend file in the folder with the windows iso file like you did in an only windows USB drive? cheers mate

Thank you, I was using an ISO with the XML added to it and putting this on a ventoy disk. This is much better. Now I can change the XML at will without re making another ISO.

yea but having multiple xml files would be confusing still. since the file name can't be changed, you end up with multiple files with the same name unable to tell the difference...

@@FARDEENKHANQWE123 Wrong. As its on a USB you call the XMLs by various names, the only one to take effect will be the one called Unattend.xml. Lets say you have these in the template folder. noapps.xml (does not install apps) nodefender.xml (does not install defender) LTSCLike.xml (does a LTSC like install) minimal.xml (everything taken out) Before starting the install, just rename the one you want to use as unattend.xml and its done. After install rename it back to what it was. dead simple.

@@FARDEENKHANQWE123 No, IF you were smart, you could also add a PE iso and change the XML names then reboot into the Win install, it's Ventoy.

Keep the framework and workflow with a cli for changing names if thats not messing with your practical and organization its the right one. I think to be faster only for just testing, since you can see the size add comments litterally random text, as much for the number change so indexing them by keeping notes of last digits. For naming and description before and after the tests put put real comments before the fake ones, like you normaly etheirwise/always do on the comments. Optional: do the second step to your writen notes if you need it. Its just a hustling workouround. For me its working.

Good video, the only thing missing is showing how to load multiple answers files for the iso in step 5. This is how I setup my ventoy drive with multiple answer files for the ltsc version, standard version and my own quick wipe version.

Stick them into the template folder with diff names, only the unattend xml will run, need to use another, rename the default to anothername.xml and the one you want to use to unattend xml

Any of the methods are fine. Personally, I've used method 2 the most. However, method 3 is much better if you're planning on using different answer files because you can just copy the new answer file and replace the old one without having to copy the ISO file too. It saves some time.

The autounattend method is great but for some reason Winget doesn't work out of the box. It throws an error saying that it's broken and the reinstall of Winget doesn't help. Not a big thing since I've just used Chocolatey but just letting you know.

You will need to install your WiFi driver using a LAN connection, tethering your phone via USB or downloading the WiFi driver on another computer, putting it on a USB flash drive and then installing on your computer.

I don't know why people use his file, it's not virus but some of registers turned off which important for chipset, for example even if your process shows you 88 or 100 your laptop will freez sometimes because some of functions turned off, stupid thing
