Architecture etc. I also notice there is a silent khmer s.d.r at the end of some of the words when you spell them in Khmer. Why is this? B. Politics. Prime Minister. Parliament. Political parties. Opposition. Vote. Election. Etc C. The Palace. King. Queen. Prince. Princess. Throne etc. Palace. Servant. D. Building a house, Condo, apartments, building etc Renovation of a house. Are there any guidelines or common usage by native speaker on which they choose? How about in formal/professional situations in business writings or newspapers? Is geu, jia, geu jia still optional?

why is friend called "ពួកម៉ាក", in textbooks it says "មិត្ត" or "មិត្តភក្តិ" and i used them without confusion. What is the difference?

ពួកម៉ាក , មិត្ត , or មិត្តភក្កិ are the same. I can say ពួកម៉ាក (informal) and មិត្តភក្តិ (formal).
