You took the time to explain calmly and that you actually said to take your time and do a little day by day. Even though I’ve read this scripture a hundred times before it was helpful to review different versions as I’ve never realized before that the saltiness can also mean seasoned/seasoning. As Christians we talk a lot about different seasons of struggle we go through and to apply it to this scripture, such as to be seasoned in struggle, to be strengthened from trials, makes us more seasoned as Christians (more mature) and more effective as a seasoning to others. Where as encouraging long suffering and faith building! The salt has many meanings and it’s amazing to see just how deep God’s word can be when we truly examine it and seek Him! 🙏🏼💕
