Congratulations from Germany: A really great video. You have explained the functions of this plugin very well using this interesting music sequence as an example. How many times have I seen videos showing plugins lately, but it is spoken too quickly and indistinctly. In addition, a lot is told about what is often not part of the actual topic. What is almost worse, however, is the fact that there is a lot of unmotivation and the try and error principle is played around with the controls without really showing the functions of the plugin in a musical context. A little preschool child who has been briefly explained how to hold the computer mouse in his hand can also play around with the controls here and there... 😏

Sean i have this plugin but how do you compare it to Antares auto tune? Some of my friends said they like this better.
@Aka-1da5 жыл бұрын
I have auto-tune 8 and waves tune real time. I think waves tune real time is better for automatic pitch correction. It makes your voice sound less robotic and sustains the notes much better than auto-tune 8's automatic pitch correction. In waves tune if you are using a re-tune speed around 0-10 i feel as if adds some weird coloring to the vocal of some sort. I don't hear this coloring in Antares though. If I do use auto-tune 8, i definitely and always use the graph mode so I can take control of which notes need to be corrected or else you will get the T-Pain effect using the automatic mode and in most cases I don't prefer it and neither do my artists. Now there is a manual version of waves tune where it scans out the track just like the graph mode in Antares. During my sessions I will use the automatic pitch correction just to save time and give the artist and idea of how on pitch they are. When I'm alone mixing and mastering their tracks, I will always scan everything out because to me it sounds way better. I will say this again, I have both Antares auto tune 8 and waves tune, but it really depends on the style of the track for which one is right. Most (almost all) of my sessions are waves tune haha.

Once inserted on a track in your DAW, are the corrections made by Waves Tune Real-Time printed to the track audio? Or, if I like the result, but want to fine-tune a little more with Waves Tune, will I need to bounce or render the results of WT RT?
@samuelredjono5 жыл бұрын
Fezzler61 it’s a real time plug-in! Which means it can proces the audio instantly. If you have a clip in the track you have put the plug-in on, the plug-in will work with that audio, just like a compressor or an EQ. This also means you can tweak the settings afterwards. If you want to use Melodyne of Waves Tune for pitch correction, I suggest you put that plug-in *before* WT RT, so you only have to ajust the parts where needed. Hope this helps!
@Fezzler615 жыл бұрын

DutchRedjonOVLOGS I’m not sure what bouncing the track means. If you could help I’d really appreciate it.
@slowpokeproductions4 жыл бұрын
@@sheiladevore4584 You prob figured it out already, but if you're recording RT vocs, it should print to the track as you record or when you bounce. If it doesn't, check your output routing for the vocal track. If it's not your stereo out, it may be off-routing somewhere else.
