I'd love one of a different kind, where you for example learn to track abilities/timers of mobs and bosses. Like making a progress bar for when a frontal is about to go off or something similar. Whatever you decide, im sure i'll dig it.

Very sporadic about my addon usage, but WA always seemed like too much until these videos. I only want a "Show on cooldown/desaturated/cooldown time" for now, but I know these videos will have all the info I need if I want to at least *start* something else. Thanks for the hard work making all of this clear and helpful!

Thanks for the awesome video. Is there a way to have a weak aura track the amount of buffs active? For an example as an Outlaw rogue I use Roll the Bones which gives me up to 5 Random buffs and I just want to track how many I currently have active. Perhaps an Icon that would show the number 3 if I have 3 of the buffs active. and so on.

Hey friend! Yes, but you'd need to set up Triggers for each of those 5 buffs, then show them each if you have them or not. Other auras exist like this already and can be found on Wago.io by searching for "roll the bones" and there are a variety of options available if you dont want to build your own (wago.io/Pd53s_NPU) or (wago.io/Nyg6wk4_l)

bro i can't make an aura work, where the Retribution aura for paladin when seraphim procs of 4 secs shows whenever is available again cus cant occurs more than once every 30 seconds.... how can i make a custom 26 seconds CD (proc lasts 4 secs)

I have a shield and I want to have a vertical progressbar on the icon relative to the shield amount. the shieldamount is in %tooltip1 but I cannot find out how to set the max amount as percentage and set the condition relative to it.. can you help me?

I'm unsure how to manually set the maximum value, but if you search around on `wago.io` for the shield's name you may find someone who made something similar (or things like Ignore Pain come to mind), which could be a basis to work off of!

Very helpful series I'm struggling to track abilities/buffs of target in world PVP Is this possible? For example as a mage I want to track when a warrior I have targeted casts "spell reflection"

Oh absolutely! For that, treat it like a normal buff that you’d have on yourself, but instead of having the trigger look at “Aura -> Player -> Buff”, you’d instead have it look at “Aura -> Target -> Buff”. Everything else would be the same!

heya! I can try and help here, but yes the interface of WeakAuras is constantly getting updated and renamed, but to my knowledge all of the triggers are still the same. Is there one specifically that you couldn't find?

i made a simple WA to track the duration of arcane overload from the new tier set. the spell damage ranges from 1-25% spell power increase depending on mana spend. is there a way i could add this for example 15% into the icon as well? thank you great video

Sorry for my late response here, you can absolutely do this! That information is likely stored within the "tooltip" (ie: if you play that set for a bit, if there is a buff given to your character, you might read the %Buff when you hover over the buff). I made a similar weakaura for an Arms warrior talent, "Test of Might" (increases mainstat based on rage spend within a window), so you might be able to take my aura and then just adjust the "Trigger" to look for "Arcane Overload" instead of "Test of Might" to see if it works! Is there a way to divide a progress texture in parts and then use it to show my stacks? I want progress texture to kinda fill up while my stacks are going up and it seems that i absolutely cannot do it. Great vid tho!

I haven't done this specifically, but I imagine it might be possible by using multiple auras (one for each "stack"), then set the Zoom Level maybe? Or you can break the texture itself into parts and upload them as custom textures!

Yes! You can do this via the "Conditions" tab, and use the "Sound -> Play Sound -> (sound channel) -> Sound File Name" option!

I’ve admittingly never played a rogue so I’m unfamiliar with how their boosted combo point works, BUT I know from feral that combo point are all individual from each other (ie: Trigger->Player Info->Power->Combo Points) you basically have to set up each combo point to be solely aware of itself, so you’d make an aura for Combo Point 1 (and if it had a buff), then duplicate it for every combo point. It’s weird. Or steal one off Wago.io and edit it with the knowledge from this vid!

@@xxApparitorxx unless the name itself changes I’m not sure if it’s trackable. I’d check in your class Discord, where there is usually a WeakAuras channel and they might have more granular, niche info for specific class stuff!

hey would you happen to know why my berserker stance always shows where i placed my weak auras until enrage procs then it takes over the spot id like to remove berserker stance from there

It’ll depend heavily on how your weakaura package is coded, id open up your pack and try and specifically find the Berserker Rage aura that you have and review it’s triggers and conditions. It sounds like something is causing a conflict with tracking Enrage, which Berserker Stance shouldn’t care about (if you see it mentioned as a trigger, it’s safe to remove it from Berserker Stance!)
