Thanks for sharing. I may be mistaken but I believe what you're showing isn't a "trailing" stop but rather OCO (one cancels the other). A trailing stop would maintain its pre-defined distance (in price) away from the buy price as the contract price goes up. Thusly, if your contract value increased by 20% and you've got a trailing stop loss, the stop loss price would sit at exactly breakeven. In short, the stop slides upward with the option price, but never downward. So the most you'd ever lose is 20% from its local high. I really wish Webull had this feature but currently they do not.

Yes, they do have the trailing stop feature as well, but I believe it is a separate order that you would need to use by itself.

They have it for common stock shares but I haven't found it for options. Hell, on mobile you can't even move your SL to break even, because your sl has to be less than the purchase price. Maybe I'm doing something wrong but after being up 30% I tried to move my sl up to capture profits but it wouldn't let me move it beyond purchase price. Seem like a major oversight for their ootions trading platform.

Just switched to WeBull from Fidelity due to lower fees and sad there isn't actual trailing stop functionality

I had the same issue, I did some research on the Webull app. You have to go to settings and apply for level 3 options trading to get that option

I have a question though...okay so for the orders themselves, let's say I have the take profit and the stop loss all set, will these show up in the price ladder widget? Basically what I'm thinking about doing is having my orders automatically have the % stop loss risk and the % take profit reward that I want to have and be able to adjust it on the fly depending on what is happening on the chart. I usually use the ladder to do this as I don't tend to watch the options contract chart but the underlying charts instead and use the ladder to move around my stop. Would love to be able to adjust the take profit as well so I could manage both ends of the trade. Thanks again

I believe so. Just tested it out and once I enter the order in the classic trade the stop and take profit show up in the ladder as well and you can move them up and down in there.

There is not an answer to this question that will fit everyone. Depending on cash at risk, timeframe, etc... that needs to be determined by you. I look at it this way. If I risk 20% on a trade, I want to be looking for 30-40% upside at least to make the risk reward worth it.

Guys when you panick to get out by pressing cancel when your winning money you will get out at the price you paid for. Found that out the hard way when i was up 77% and pressed cancel😢😢 Let your SL and TP do their thing and to make sure it gets filled at or a little bit below the ask

You have a great day too Bill! Got some other videos already on the channel covering using just the stop loss feature. If you cancel the stop after filled nothing happens, you just no longer have a stop, just a take profit left. If you cancel the stop before you get filled, same thing, you can still get filled but just with no stop. You can cancel individual legs from the chart, order page and even the price ladder widget. Hope that helps make more sense.

Is there a way to trim your contracts if you buy multiple contracts at once using the SL/TP settings? I’ve bought multiple contracts but it seems like the SL/TP have to apply to all of the contracts and you can’t change them for individual ones. Hope that makes sense
