Just subscribed to your channel. I am beyond a novice on lawns. We have weeds, browns spots, bare areas where trees were removed, our lawn is a mess! Also, I believe we have clay soil (not sure). Maybe that makes a difference on what I should do. How and where should I start? Also, is there a video of yours you recommend me watching 1st or watch them in a particular order? Good question. Because mowing before can damage the grass when applying the weed and feed. When you mow your lawn the lawn needs a chance to repair itself before taking on herbicides. And the second reason is you want to make sure you have enough leaf blade that the weed and feed will stick on the weed so it can kill it.

This product will kill everything it touches including grass so be careful. I hope this helped

@NikkosExperience I never used the Wen dethatcher, but I like Sun Joe from my personal experience it's very reliable and definitely gets the job done. I've had it for 4 years, and it still works just like when it was new. For weed Killer, I like using Spectracide weed stop for lawns orange top. But you can also use Bioadvanced, image, or Round Up for lawns. Those are also very good alternatives for crabgrass
