Ok, so the people as Sally's don't help you at all when you go into the store. This is the fourth time I've had an issue with them... Cause I have no idea what I'm doing and picked up the wrong developer... will it still work with ion?

I know this is late, but I used it with ion 10 vol and it made my hair feel really dry and brittle after I rinsed it out. Didn't realize it had a dedicated developer either, and the girl at Sally didn't tell me... So I might try it again with the line's developer next time.

@@Mikirou brand doesnt matter. Just do a deep conditioning treatment after.

Unfortunately, that was not as informative as I needed it to be. I needed to know which volume developer and my questions were not answered. I have 10 volume and I don't know if I should use it with this color, slate 1c.

Going blonde is a process you won't get the results you want the first time. You will have damaged hair if you went from dark hair to platinum blonde in one sitting. Never use any dyes with red or any color with warm under tones if you are trying to go blonde. Make sure you use natural or cool tones they will cancel out the warmer tones. Please don't throw any reds in your hair it would be harder to lift when going blonde.

Alexa Ramirez no it does not have any bleach in it. U never mix bleach with colour. Colour must be mixed with the proper developer. The developer lifts and the colour deposits.Hope this helps =) I am a licensed cosmetologist specializing in colour for 17 yrs. Also be sure to mix in bowl and apply with brush...good luck =)

glacier8 when ever you apply color that takes a developer (and your hair is wet) the water in your hair dilutes the color/developer so you COULD come out with uneven color, lighter color, or the color could wash out. (I'm not saying this to get rude replies I'm sharing this info I've learned through school and or personally)
