The Pearl Tone was too strong and not enough Ash. It comes off skyblue/lavender-y than silver

Pretty much because blue helps getting this silver-ish color. A little too much blue, indeed :D

Blue or a blue/mauve......roots pre color are level 11-12 as well so...no, you did not match the roots and mid shaft on the second app IMO. Cliebt isn’t young so she can carry the color, whatever that color is, and it will fade but to what? I’d love to see ALL of these stylists that are “educating” show their client post 6-10 weeks. PS: WHY DOES THERE HAVE TO BE FRIGGIN MUSIC OVER TOP OF THEIR VOICE???!!! Sooooooo annoying! PPS: Silver/grey it ain’t hon or ALL of our screens are screwed.

Remember the "smoke and silver" rinses that turned every woman's gray an odd cold-lavender or blue? You know: Vicki Lawrence's role as "Mama" on the Carol Burnett Show? Who knew it'd be attractive?

Those that are saying it's blue. There's different tones of grey. The model has a more steel grey.

This looks about the same as taking Wella t14 plus 050 additive. And it will fade to a nasty green grey if you don't pre-tone.
@Splucked6 жыл бұрын
I used T14+050 a month ago on pale yellow blonde and got a very grey result. I like it but almost no silver. Wishing I used T18. Anyway, no green as it fades. (knock wood)

So I have a client who I've been coloring with = pts 66/0. And 6/73. The has 3 inches regrowth that is 90% gray. She wants to go all gray. Do I use a coloer remover mid shaft thru ends and rinse and apply blondor mid shaft to ends them apply Blondie on regrowth using 20 vol? Then tone roots to ends? I need to watch this again

is this the first approved gray hair dye ever from wella ?
@Splucked6 жыл бұрын
A hint of lavender at the roots but the overall color is silver. I think it looks great. Wish we had seen her hair before it was touched, though.

I hate how they never SHOW what the consistency is of the mixtures. I tried to use wella hair color, but when i mixed it with developer, it came out gel like, thick and jiggly, i got nervous and threw it away because i was too nervous to put it in my hair
@SeptemberBlondie138 жыл бұрын
Mine did too at first. I just added a little more developer in and kept mixing and adding a cap full until it was the right consistency.

My sister had dark brown bleached the it was orange yellow I used T14and and t18 but no change then I saw some one use 050 dint work ether still orange roots ok because she has gray hair one to get gray hair
@janetwhitten26437 жыл бұрын
I love how they don't let you see what color her regrowth was. Her roots looked really amost white after she bleached so I bet her hair was not very dark to begin with. This will make a big difference in how your hair bleaches out and also how it receives color. Do not be dismayed you all that have followed directions and have not gotten this color. I had to suffer through many mishaps before I got the color I wanted because my once dark blonde roots had grown even darker. Medications had made my hair more brittle and weaker. I have suffered complete breakage on the front of my hair and this happened from a salonist not me. Nothing like a pixie cut at 62! lol!

This formula turned my hair GREEN.
@LeSeulGarcon8 жыл бұрын
Of course it did. This was a Pearl tone heavy formula. And I'm guessing your starting shade was yellow which would equal Green hair. You need either a Natural or Balanced Blonde shade mixed in or more Red tone

@sarahoverstreet81887 жыл бұрын
Marco Cardenas yes, an activating lotion. It's less harsh and definitely recommend if the ends have been previously highlighted or bleached, but also have color in on top of the blonde.

Turn the background music down pleeeeeeze.. and why does it have to be so Beaty. It isn’t drama, or theatre, or a dance floor. It is a colouring salon. Calm it down so we can hear what is said.
@not_today_satan_74 жыл бұрын
This is not an accurate depiction of the typical client. The majority of clients have been coloring their hair for years with something like a level 6. They have 2 -3 inches regrowth of 90% gray and now want to be fully gray. This is completely different than what you're demonstrating. Let's be realistic.

I think we're all looking for "icy silver" or that platinum with a touch of silver to it, like a soft baby silver. If you're doing your own hair and it's thick you're going to skip all these steps and dump that whole bowl over your head and rub it in like shampoo LOL.

Working in a wella salon I love the brand but I hate watching these videos or having in salon training the majority of the time it’s not a commercially acceptable time frame to have clients in the chair for half of your day stripping out old colour I don’t like the fact you don’t have the starting point and that they’re already working with a clean base where are the real clients/models for hairdressers dealing with everyday issues it give the public a false impression that anything is possible which sometimes it’s not and often leave feeling disapppinted this is just my opinion I’m relatively new to the industry and can sometimes struggle explaining this to people who have their hearts set on a certain image they come into the salon with I find wellas warm colours are very strong and consistent compared to the cooler end of their chart

This formula mixture did not work AT ALL on me. Made my hair super ashy blonde and almost gave it a brown tint. Got nowhere close to the results on this model
@macb31277 жыл бұрын
If it comes out ashy, you're supposed to wash your hair with purple shampoo. That's how you remove the brassy undertones.
@sdeel977 жыл бұрын
Kins B. Ashy is the opposite of brass, putting purple on already ashy hair will make it more cool.
