I have been using Xert for at least 4 years but still found that interesting and useful.

Very late to the party, but thanks for this, wish I knew at the beginning of Autumn, better late than never. Appreciate the time taken to put the videos together. Looking forward to the next parts. Head is coming round slowly😊👍

Would love to get proper eval using the Moxie O2 sensors - want to learn more about how my body manages lactate and O2. Do you put on clinics in the states?

As previously said, I've been using xert since 2017, this video really helped me justify my actions as a self coached athlete, simple but very informative...But as a long distance triathlete I'm always nervous about the best solution to my training prescription....Would love to hear your thoughts as Xert only tells a small % of my training data..... Thank you

Yes, mixing sports can get complicated and has a lot of conflicting advice too. Great subject, one of my faves.

this video will be very helpful. xert is a very sophisticated analytical/prescriptive system. unfortunately the explanatory material is deficient. any more videos on this subj will be welcome. only criticism of xert is its emphasis on mpa. peak power isn't a particularly useful metric for runners, triathletes, or time trialists.

Oh. I’m going to answer that next. PP does raise eyebrows among the endurance scene for sure.

quick questions... Do you use power from pedals or smart trainer... pedals seems to give me more accurate same feeling as power output as outside rides but then smart trainer does not seem to use erg as good so takes a little more to stay on target... then also do I need to enter wheel size or anything like other apps into Xert ?? and how do you calibrate trainer in Xert or do it separately ?? and so far best video I have found for breaking down Xert stuff going to try and watch them all
@Mapdec2 жыл бұрын
Thank you. I actually use a range of PM, but you don’t need too. Most smart trainers are good if you calibrate each ride. To answer your question properly, Tacx Neo, Quarq DZero and Garmin Rally. The wheel size thing is only if you are interested in speed, and there is no need to be in Xert. You can calibrate speed and power in the apps of your devices or Garmin style head unit. Btw, the only reason I use all those power meters is because I’m a coach and I like to keep a top of how devices differ. Accuracy between devices is off little consequence these days if you calibrate. 2-3 years ago, was a different story.

Hi, just seen this after receiving a mail from Xert and decided to have another look at it again. Like you I've just had or having a horrendous year. What I noticed with the free version when testing to see what workout it would give me was that the workout was much harder than I feel I need or want at present. Does this change with the paid version?

It’s worth paying for. The new AI beta is really interesting. I’m experimenting with it now.

I enjoyed this video and I've been using Xert for about a year now and I'm wondering why you say this is an AI based tool? None of the documentation mentions it and Armando does state in the podcasts and user forums that it is entirely algorithmic driven software.

Search terms and more common language for a title. No big deal.

What athletic type would you choose for someone specialising in Crits ?
@Mapdec2 жыл бұрын
Road Sprinter, however…. It depends how your ride and what your strengths are or what you want them to be. There are many ways to win a race. Solo breakaway, sprinting bunch, etc. You could choose to enhance your strengths or train your limitations.
