I can’t seem to get my keyboard mouse and controller to connect through the xim to the PC is it because of the “not enough power?” So I would need to get a usb hub for this to work?

Yes that is exactly the problem with that hub, you can either buy a power adapter for it or find another hub that has its own power, I havent tested many hubs just the one in the description. However head over to the discord for further assistance just in case this isnt the case.

thanks for the video. One question I have is what is the purpose of the PS5 dongle for Cronus Zen? Isn't that suppose to allow cronus to work on a PS5 with a controller? Or does this video you did the only way to get Cronus Zen to work on PS5 with controller playing PS5 versions of games via remote play. I saw people discovered you can use Cronus on PS5 console with controller but only to play PS4 versions of the games running on PS5)

You can use that wheel on Xbox I believe IF you have a Cronus or similar device, the XIM Apex won’t help you in this case

I don't feel an input delay, I wouldnt play any competitive games if i did otherwise, I believe this delay will play a big part on how your home network is running. I have a ton of devices (Alexa, Cameras, Light Switches, Phones and Tablets) on my home network and i experience no delay, i also have everything hardwired.

No controller should be connected to the ps5 directly, I cleared this up in other videos also, it doesn’t matter when you have remote play connected as long as you connect the devices correctly, Cronus XIM or both need to be counted to pc prior to connecting controllers or other devices to them, Cronus needs to be connected, then the ps5 controller, if you use XIM then XIM needs to be connected, then mouse keyboard then controller in that order, if you use both Cronus goes in first then XIM then the devices in the order listed above

the XIM just needs to be connected to the Cronus A1 Slot (Left Port), what i have in my xim is the USB HUB, mine being a third party hub for more power

the external hub should would and provide the power needed. But if your apex is working without the zen then the issue may not be power and could be the controller being used

The purple means to set Xim Apex to 250hz instead. It's a sync issue since PS5 only do 250Hz or something like that.

I think I did know it was Hz rate but any slower is just not that good so i ignore the purple and it works just fine, i can test out other rates again and confirm but thank you for the info

As far as I’ve read, the Cronus and XIM are having issues emulating the PS5 controller which is why they can’t pass the encryption so they can be used in the games directly. Something with Sony’s new encryption and timestamps. They’re working at it but a year later we still haven’t gotten far and this makes this method the best. I am going to try a new method for those that do not have a pc that can do remote play. If we (or they) can figure out how remote play bypasses the PS5 requirements I think it can be implemented into these devices.

@@marcusosterlund5572 If you plug both of the controllers in you may experience the ps5 not responding. How i fixed this was unplug both remotes and restart remote play, Only plug in one device at a time, in your case Zen. plug the zen into the pc then let the lights come on, just make sure there isnt anything else plugged into the zen at initial connect, once your zen lights are on and remote play is running plug in the remote or xim into the left slot of the zen as show in the video. So I have everything working but the moment I put my xim into the Cronus it stops responding on the share play but I actively can operate steam w my keyboard acting as my gamepad which means it definitely is communicating thru the xim to the Cronus to the PC I have PS4 speciality on and tried it with off both don't change anything, also tried using just the Cronus with controller and it works fine alone but if I pair them it'll stop communicating to share play but my pc still operates with them all as if it's one device.

@@GamingLegendzOfficial I ended up to switching to titan two and xim far better performance since they match response to rates and titan two is by design a xim accessable script device, also computer vision is fun to tweak on, I'm selling my Cronus since I also figured out how to convert Cronus scripts to the titan so essentially gained a bigger library of scripts. The only issue I've found is the way u share play to play ps5 games

I’m able to use zen and controller and I’m able to use xim with mnk and controller. I can not seem to get Cronus, xim, mnk and controller to work. Everything light up except for controller so therefore I have no input to the game. I use the hub that comes with the zen. Also I have to admit that your explanation/this video is somewhat confusing.

Make sure you use a different cable than the stock cronus cable and also make sure you have the USB Communication method selected under the controller settings.

I wouldnt say it sucks, Sony combated cheating and the Cronus Zen is in fact cheating depending on how you use it. They gave us a next gen system as xbox is just a ported upgraded Xbox One X. I love all systems but this is just an opinion on a view we dont share

Xim Matrix works the exact same way if using pc method to remote play, however the matrix features its own remote play login which then it does not require a pc

This is explained in another video, the DS4 method, you shouldn’t get a stutter using this exact method with ps5 controller
