**NOTE** You can only enable one engine at a time in the selected.bank.txt. If you wish to change the engine sound with something different, add the respective engine "bank and bank.guids" to the ts-fmod-plugin folder. Then open the selected.bank.txt and copy the new engine name in as per video.

Another note: You don't need to reload the whole game to change the selected sound or changing the plugin volume. Just type "sdk reload" on the in-game console. (If you know how to free cam, you should know how to use in-game console)

Ever since I have made a plugins folder, I have been getting this advanced sdk features warning that causes my game to crash after I hit the ok. This happens when I first start up the game. Is there a way I can fix this because I want to use Kriechbaum's 3406 for the new ATS convoy mode

You can easily test your sound by using sdk unload and sdk reload in the console. ` This way you don't have to close the entire game every time. This is the fastest way to tailor your Plugin to your personal wishes.

Hey mate, awesome video, thank you. I followed the video and the truck sounds awesome c15 is perfect but I seem to have no sound at all for the Jake brake... I tried all the different engine files and downloaded some others I found but all of them the Jake brake is silent in all of them. Any suggestions where to start looking to fix it?

I see there is a ETS2 file in it too, but are there any downloads for ETS2 files. The megapack includes sound-mods for ATS, but are there sounds for ETS2 as well ?

So you can find ets2 sound files the same. Most mod sites have ETS2 sounds that you can pick from. I don’t think there are any mega packs for ETS2 sounds.

yeah I think it has something to do with the blend between out and interior sounds. Some sounds do sound better than others,

Make sure you have the updated version, there are 3 rn. If you want pro mods on TMP you need to use 101 for 1.40 rn until TMP updates to 1.41 when it does switch to pro mods to 102.

Some of these sound designers do lock up their files. Typically all of the freeware sounds are available to open. If you’re using zeemods sounds, they typically are locked up and you can’t open them by design

This is you editing your clients files, not streamed through the sever. So answering your question only you will hear it.

Well I tried this 3 times and I get no engine sounds. Using Kriechbaums mega soundpack 1.35. Tried a few of his engine sounds in the selected sound text like detroit_60_kriechbaum Using the latest TMP app that I just installed as well. So maybe TMP app has killed this mod already.

So I figured out why my game crashes after SDK comes up. It directly related to the sound file I choose. If I leave the selected bank blank the SDK file loads fine but then of course no sound. If I add the sound bank file without the .bank at the end the SDK crashes the game. Anyone of you smart people with software knowledge have any ideas why? Running Windows X Pro version 2004. Is there a cache for SDK or a folder that something needs to be cleared? I have no clue.

Still doesn’t make any sense unless people’s computers are just way more locked down then mine is. I’ve never encountered any of those issues before. Most I’ve had is the game crash cause the sounds weren’t up to date or old enough that the plug-in wouldn’t read them.

Yes all sounds will work as long as they follow the same file type etc. some will sound better than others in this form though. They won’t sound identical to their single player counterparts

It may not. Some sounds just don’t work and some won’t let you open up the files. In other words they’re locked down.

open those scs files the way i did in the video and you'll find the bank files in there. kriechbaums engines are the easiest.
