Why not start with running the machine? Step one is interrupting an already started washer? And why doesn't the actual screen tell you whether the washer has started or paused?

If you want a dishwasher designed by people who never use a dishwasher, this is the one for you. I've never had a dishwasher where you open the door, turn it on and press start and it DOESN'T start. I've also never needed a smartphone to run my dishwasher. Technology for technology's sake.

To operate the dishwasher you will first power the unit on via the Power Button, select your wash cycle options, then press the Start Button and close the door.
