I have a thermadore sapphire and I cannot get it to start. When I shut the door. The buttons won't work. But when I open it the screen lights up and the buttons work..am I doing something wrong?

This may be a malfunction with the switch on the door latch. We'd recommend calling a service technician to come and take a look!

Check your water lines and make sure the valve is open to allow water to flow to the dishwasher.

How is the durability of these compared to cheaper brands like Bosch ? I want something that will last longer.

Thermador is considered luxury and uses higher end materials. However, both are about the same when it comes to longevity.
