This video is so helpful, the only thing is that when I do this in illustrator the process creates a white square background, have I missed something?

In the advanced setting of image trace you can remove the white background!

This was really helpfull. But im struggeling with the fact that all of de drawing lines are 'falling apart' is seperate pieces when i image trace my drawing.. If i want to change one of the lines of my drawing, i can't do it because it is not 1 line but a line in several pieces..Is that normal? And how do you deal with that 😅?

Try playing with the advanced settings in the image trace options!!

Maybe is something to do with your document set up RGB/CMYK! You can check that out. Otherwise, I haven’t had this issue & don’t know how to fix it 🥺

In procreate does everything have to be in separate layers for this to work?

No! It doesn’t matter if you have everything in separate layer or one layer. You’ll export it in PNG, so it will only be one image. Hope it helps!
