I wasn't expecting Tatsu's video to be so different. My eyes & ear were pleased. I subbed to him again. I had a different account before & I didn't realize I wasn't already on this one.

Thank you for such a nice video. :) I loved your ending "You'll see another new video...eventually." Way to own it girl!!! Quality over quantity--not everything has to be filmed and posted to be validated. Best wishes for an amazing 2019.
I just went there at the first day of reiwa and its soo much fun watching the video while remembering the location

Really fun video!! I also visited Dazaifu last year and after seeing your video I want to go again! Didn't know that they also have fortunes in (random) English! You two are such an amazing couple

Yesss omg I went to Daizaifu twice last year during summer and it was so nice! That chicken burger place was sooo good. You helped me re-live some memories, thank you Micaela
There's an awesome dance group called Dazaifu Mahorobashu. They always dance in Fukuoka's Yosakoi festival, it's pretty cool! I'd like to visit Fukuoka and watch their performances.

@@Ciaela 太宰府まほろば衆 are performing days 20/12 and 25/12 according their facebook fanpage (Google translator helped me). Here in Brazil we have a bunch of Yosakoi Soran (Hokkaido style) teams and just one Yosakoi (Kochi style) group (dance style similar, but different). I'm a member of one those groups and Mahorobashu, even not being a Yosakoi Soran group, it's an inspiring one to me. Their costumes and choreographies are REALLY AWESOME.

That was very pretty and looked like a nice relaxing place to visit. I'm starting to wonder about those fortunes. Who writes them? Who prints them? Who services the inventory? Are there companies, similar to what Hallmark is for greeting cards in the US, that are dedicated to manufacturing those?
@GiantParfait3 жыл бұрын
Idk if you still want an answer to this. Before, omikuji fortunes were made at the temple itself. In recent modern times they are indeed made by companies who sell to multiple temples.
@quintrankid80453 жыл бұрын
@@GiantParfait Thanks for the info. That's fascinating. I wonder what sorts of people they hire to write the fortunes and what the sales calls are like.
@GiantParfait3 жыл бұрын
@@quintrankid8045 there is actually a big market as well for the wooden tablets to write your wishes on. They come in many shapes, many regional. For example in areas where hrose draft races occur there will be horse shaped ones!
@quintrankid80453 жыл бұрын
@@GiantParfait Wow. I don't think I've seen those in any videos of temples, but I can imagine them. Thank you again for the info.
Such good timing with this video! I'm heading to Daizaifu in two weeks, going to take the going early advice to heart. Especially since I'm going closer to New Years! If you see this, any recommendations on what to do around the Daizaifu area other than the shrine?

OMG same thing for me when I got Daikichi when I was in Takayama. We were in a cave and there was a shrine at the end before you exit and I got super lucky, but when I opened it I was like this sounds like bad luck xD So much be careful

@garytheosophilus5 жыл бұрын
I thought you tied them up at the temple when they’re a bad fortune?
@Ciaela5 жыл бұрын
You can tie them up when they are bad, to "leave the bad luck behind", or you can tie them in hopes of amplifying good fortune. Basically, you tie them up either way. It's up to you. I think more people are likely going to want to leave bad luck behind though. Some prefer to carry their good fortune with them.
Nice vlog. All those things you ate looked delicious! That's quite the Starbucks and quite the interesting fortune you got haha. How far of a train ride is this place to where you live? And seems like Tatsu hasn't been in any recent vlogs (I could be wrong) so good to see him make an appearance. Anyhow, looking forward to your next vlog. Happy holidays!

I am currently unemployed I do not have skills, I do not understand English, I'm using the translation function so I think that the sentences are going wrong but I'm sorry. I am suffering from human relationships and the courage to go out to society has disappeared. So I thought I'd start KZbin to earn a little income. There is also no money to buy video editing software for technology that can edit video. Although I am starting from 0, I would like to do my best and I would like to thank you for your continued support.
