Have never ever paid to go up the Rock in all my visits during my time in the RN. In those days, anyone could just walk up the Rock and visit all the sights for free

The good old days! Honestly it was well worth the £19 though, there is a lot to see and do but we do wish the walks we're more trail walks and not on the roads with the cars.

If you loved upper st Michaels cave, you’d really enjoy lower st Michaels cave too! No light show but some really amazing formations 😊 if you ever consider visiting again!

Why not visit for a week or two? Fascinating when I stayed there working on a yacht in 67. People have a terrific sense of humour & it is or was a meeting place for travellers through Africa into Europe & travellers through Europe into Africa. 'Smoky Joes' everybody ate and drank and met in back then.

Hey Peter thanks for checking out the video. We were a bit tight on time so 1 day is the best we could do. Gibraltar as we have been told (and seen online) use to be a lot more trendy in the 60s. Perhaps its all been downhill since then 😅
