50 lb. average?!!!!! Us west coasters are very jealous! A 50+ wahoo out here is definitely a trophy. DTX's are "The Lure" for wahoo. Guys who don't have one regret it very quickly.

Question for you. If I were to be targeting Mahi and black fin but want to run a bent but rod WITH A NOMAD ,not high speed maybe 5-8 MPH for the possible Wahoo what Nomad lure would you recommend?

What is the best speed or best range speeds to troll the DTX 200 and the 220?

My opinion is 8-11 knots. For trolling from 12-14 knots us the madmacs, 200 size is very popular in so. California.

After catching 1 fish on the dtx you can through it away gets the bites but cost alot for a barracuda to ruin

That’s not necessarily true. It can be but we have caught multiple fish before they get too damaged to troll.

So many people are buying the mad macs now and selling them for 4 times the price of what there worth.
