Best tutorial ever!. Jay, for real, you explain everything so well, every detail, the extra tips, the editing, everything is great. You are very professional and it shows. You are such an inspiration Jay. I've seen so many tutorials that didn't help me that it's exhausting. Many people make videos without really knowing how to explain them, but in your videos you can see the difference. oh, I like your drawing videos too, wow, you are an amazing artist. I just wanted to tell you this. Thank you very much for so much help!

hey Andie!!! bro!! Nice to meet you!! Thanks for your words. It is a pleasure for me to be able to help you with my videos and it makes me extra mega happy to know that you are interested in the animation world. That´s awesome. Moho is a very complete program, so in the next videos I will be talking in more detail about the principles of animation, how to create a storyboard, and everything you need to start creating your own short film. Later I´d like to talk about how to integrate all this into the world of video games. So yeah, there's a lot ahead hehe. Thank you so much for your support!! It really gives me strength to continue. For real!!. It means a lot. And welcome!!! 😃😃😃😃

@@JayBlackCult wohooo, looking forward to the planned content! I'm really interested in Moho, esp with the 40% off deal going on. My dilema is wanting to go for the Pro version (for the dynamic and smart bones), but not sure if that's overkill for an absolutely complete beginner for animation (esp since it still would cost well over $200). Would it be better to get the basic version instead? Not sure how limiting it could be. Also, is Moho a one time buy or is it subscription based like Adobe? Thank you!

@@andieluke1366 Oh, I am currently using version 12.4 (2016) and it has dynamic bones and smart bones. Are you sure that they are not included in the Debut version? I was about to buy the 13.5 pro version, but I'm going to wait. I think the best thing about version 13.5 is the option to add wind. So, I´m gonna wait for more changes before buying it. So, First option: you can try and download the trial version (version 13.5 full) and play with it. Try to create your first character add some bones, and see how it feels like. In the video where I explain how to draw Stitch, I mention how to work with smart bones, and bind points, you can watch it to see what it's all about. I think the debut version can help you understand how the entire animation process works without having to go into very technical details. There's a lot about animation that's important aside from the software. From how to write a script, how to plan a character before drawing it, how to plan each angle, colors, clothes, the personalities, jokes, and much more. All of that is done on paper (Storyboard mainly) before moving to Moho. The debut version will help you to take the first steps, and also to see if you feel comfortable with the software. Then if you think that you are really interested in animation world, you can move to the Pro version. And the best part, once you learn the whole concept of animation you will be able to work with other programs. Including 3D stuff. Many 2D shows, or even 2D Games, have 3D Stuff in it. (I´ll talk about that too) It this business it´s really important to know a little bit of everything lol. If I were you, I would ask if the debut version includes any type of bone system to be sure, and I´d also ask, if you can update it later. Here you have their email. info@lostmarble.com Just write to them, they are pretty cool. Btw, where did you find Moho? And why would you like to start working with animations?. What´s your story? If I may ask of course. 😀

Morning Judgeworks how are ya!!! I hope you are having an amazing day. Oh that´s a great question. !! I have here a video I made with the smart bones info you need. 😊 Check this one kzbin.info/www/bejne/q57CqY2Hrph_b80 on the minute 14:53 And about the PSD file, maybe you can try the frame by frame animation adding different psd on each frame. check this kzbin.info/www/bejne/pZWpnn2mZdV4qpo minute 1:55 there I explain how to work the timeline in frame by frame. That should work. I did something similar to what you want to do but with the background. Always using frame by frame animation.😊😊 let me know how it goes! and thanks a lot for your comment and support!!!

Hello can you help me? I want to create an animation loop to put on the timeline as the main animation of the character. To get some diversity, I want to add some second animations separate from the pricipal one. For example in the case of your character who is walking, is it possible to add other actions, like making one of his arms raise? But keeping in two different smart bones actions. I'm trying, but every time I add a keyframe of another action, it goes to interrupt the main one. So I would like to create one main movement for the whole animation and then add independently, other actions together on the same timeline.
@JayBlackCult
@JayBlackCult 3 ай бұрын
Hi there Francis, sorry for the delay, so yeah lets see. What you need to do is separate the layers you want to animate. You should have each arm, each leg, torso and head on a different layer. Select each layer, and generate a different animation for each part of the body. That´s all. To have better control and keep everything organized, it is good to create a folder for each body part you are going to work on. Oh, maybe the video I uploaded about how to create a South Park character is better, since it has more folders. At least to give you a better Idea of what you can do. But don't worry, yes, it is possible to do what you are looking for, and actually you are on the right path. It is always better to work the Loop first, and then the other parts of the body. You just have to go one by one and everything separately. Right now I'm just making a new video where I'm going to explain how the Timeline works, how to separate animations, how to modify a specific part of the body without affecting the rest, and other tips. But for now, you can try separating the layers. Let me know how it goes!! And have a great day

@JayBlackCult
@JayBlackCult Жыл бұрын
Hi there Mr Google, whats up!!! oh, sure, I don´t know if you are gonna get a good quality sound, but you can try it. You just have to go to Windows, at the top menu, and then Audio Recording. If you have a microphone that would be better. Once you record, you can modify the Pitch level, sometimes you can get some good stuff, more if you are good making voices. Once you are done you can add it to your project and save the audio file. :)
