Always take sandpaper, and scuff the bottom of a stiletto shoe. That way they won't slip on a slippery floor. Its VERY good advice, trust me.

You can also twist your feet on concrete to scuff the soles. Twist your stilettos back and forth like you do when you're crushing bugs beneath both sexy soles.

I taught myself to walk in heels by wearing super high heeled cowboy boots (lot's of structure and support and I didn't mind killing them) and stomping around the woods and fields around my house for a few hours. after figuring out how to balance on uneven squishy and rocky ground, walking on flat surfaces is a dream now and I've yet to find a heel I can't walk in.

Skip to 4:15-6:05 if you want to actually hear about walking in heels and not just her jabbering. Or you could take my advice on how to walk in heels: -start with a smaller heel or a wedge and work your way up. -always have your knees at a slight BENT unless you want to experience discomfort -take SMALL paces, you will always be slower walking heels. taking large strides will put uncomfortable pressure on your knees. -make sure your feet actually fit in the shoe. if you are going to be wearing heels for a long time, consider investing foot inserts. some people experience blisters on the back of the ankle, some at the ball of the foot, etc. it usually depends on the shoe so make sure you really practice in them beforehand. -consider stashing a pair of flats in your bag if you don't think you can wear them for the entire duration. -hair spraying the inside sole of the shoe will make your foot stick to the shoe. this is how celebs wear their heels so they don't come off. -practice before first on carpet but then on a slippery surface. whenever i needed to wear heels it was usually a formal function with a slick floor (i.e. ballroom, hotel lobby) feel free to ask me questions.

My sister is 184cm tall (about 6 foot i think) and loves wearing VERY high heals, so she ends up being more than 6'56". She also get a lot of the comments like you do, but she loves feeling tall and just don't care about people's comments. Next time anyone comments on your height, just say thank you. As I said, they're just jealous about your height :)

I just started with 6" stilettos and walked toward a full length mirror for like 20 minutes. When you learn in a 6" in heel, well, you'll know how to walk in any heel after. It's like learning in a stick shift first, you'll be able to drive anything and everything after a stick shift.

ihath There is nothing wrong with loving heels, but i never understand why people can't take care of their feet too. Why not wear your heels, but learn how you can protect your feet so you can wear the heels you love straight to your grave. Not insulting you, I'm serious. Some people have to give up their heels as they get older, but if you care for your feet, you can lower the chances of that ever happening to you.

when I wear high heels, even if I walk the right way, the soles of my feet hurt too much afterwards, they feel like burning. also, I like to walk quickly, and it's really difficult to walk fast and put the heel down first. It looks silly to make small and quck steps, and if I make big steps, I'm afraid that I might walk into an uneven pavement and strain my leg. What I do, is walking fast, with big steps, putting the whole foot down at the same moment. My boyfriend said I don't look good in them, because when I wear heels I bounce too much. Also, I find it really difficult to find heels with soft soles, or heels with straps that don't leave red marks on my feet. Is it impossible to find good shoes under 100 euro? Is it the shoes that are wrong or my feet that are too sensitive? If I wear high heels and gradually increase the height of the heel, will I ever be able to wear stilettos? those medium height wedges shown in the video still make my feet sore. pointy kitten heels make my toes shore. the only thing my feet tolerates is ankle length boots with medium chunky heel. My feet have a lot of muscle for a woman, because I exercise a lot, but also I am overweight for about 10-12 kg. Does this make it impossible to hear high heels? And when I try on heels,if I like them, Ican walk in them, but they feel uncomfortable, should i buy them? Is there a chance to break them in? And what details should I take into accound to discern if a heel is of qood quality or not?Wendy, if you see this, tell me your suggestions, as well as anyone who might know.

She s rright though. Practice is the key. I walk dance and yes, run in them. They are really not that difficult. Just wear them at home and walk on carpet, hardwood ,and cement and told too. Do the dishes or vacuum. You'll be running in them before long. They make you look so good it's worth all the prep..

+Seah Wanling Sharon If you're having trouble with balancing, try directly placing one foot in front of the other. This will help you balance and also give your hips a cute little sway. Don't look down at your heels as you walk. Look up and walk toe- heel. That way, you'll be more relaxed and you'll walk more normally. When you walk normally, you don't usually look down at your feet, so it won't help if you're wearing heels. Also, it's always good to look where you're going, heels or no heels! Hope that helps. If it doesn't, look it up on Wiki How. That usually solves all of my problems! XD

Take it from someone that is older and has had some life experience. I shoe is not going to give you sex appeal. You either have it or you don't and if you don't, it's more a matter of just getting in touch with the sexiness that's inside you. High heels can cause so many problems not only for your feet but for your whole body. You won't look very sexy when you're in excruciating pain after the heels have done a number on you. Of course, you don't have to take my advice but if you are reading this, all I would say to you is, "you are already sexy. Just get in touch with that and work it. Feel beautiful and sexy and be the woman that you are."

I'm always in sneakers and flats or 3 inch heels - my oldest daughter was almost 8 lbs at birth and youngest daughter was about 11lbs at birth (2.5 years apart) and I'm 5'2". Typically that just means that you're not wearing a proper high heel for YOU... meaning it might be a good height for someone else, but maybe you're not ready for it. And/or you need a heel that has a cute ankle strap to give you more support. If you're struggling to walk normally, like you would in flats/sneakers than the heel is not the right one for you.

I never realised I was walking in heels wrong until my friend told me. This really helped. I practised walking around my house & am getting used to it now. I say in my head 'heel toe heel toe heel toe' when walking & it's helpful.
