Combining this movement with any background noise, moving when the wind blows and stopping when the wind stops for example, would be beyond stealthy. Great video Sensei, thank you.

So practical and intelligent even for the beginner. If I need to get out of there and not be heard or if I see someone in my area, I need to get out quietly, get some distance, and then run. Thanks, Soke!

Let me tell you a small story that I will apologize in advance for the lack of relevance to this video. I was at work Friday night. Me and my co-workers were leaving to go home. One of my co-workers, who is a rather short woman, barely over five feet tall was there. It was night time. She asked me if I could go out of the door first because I am a guy and that she would not be as strong as I was if something were to happen. My exact words in reply were: "Your strength and that of any assailant does not matter if you have awareness and this...." To which I showed her the small knife that I always carry for protection. I told her that she should either get a small knife, carry an ink pen, or grip your keys to use in the case that she is assailed, but I also told her that being aware and vigilant is greater than any of those.

Thanks for your video. Can I ask you if you know anything about something called the time lag factor?? Apparently, this was or is something that Ninjas use to seem to 'vanish' in front of their opponents. I've often wondered exactly how it's done and how effective it is because I have never seen it done in practice.
