For me, the ideas in kzbin.infoUgkxAfqpMLyFn37qcqUl0FAzqkkycQeXqrhP Plans were a starting point for building different sheds . Ryan gives ideas that allow an individual to draw nicest conclusions into the design and building of his or her own shed.

So do you nail the top plate, then build the wall with what would become the double plate? Or just double up the top plate before standing up the wall?. Also the framing in the window, does that consist of 3 stud allowing for center of 16?

Why do you have to bud up 2-3 boards whenever you’re framing a window or door? And how do you know how many boards to use? As I have seen 2 boards and 3 boards next to each other

@@tischlermeistertom i believe its to compensate for the weight versus the "window" or "door opening" depending on which of those you're referring to. Also certain windows or doors aren't necessarily connected to the header. Just a guess I'm not too sure either.

It looks like there's 2 king studs for your window opening, certainly you shouldn't need 2 there do you?

I'm in Australia and the biggest difference I can see in the framing is you have no nogging between the studs. It's interesting the small differences.

You clearly know what you're talking about and are very knowledgeable about your craft! I would recommend that you prepare a script or do the mini cuts to the video so that your presentation is more fluid. I was getting a little distracted after hearing um and uh so often. Other than that, I'd love to see more content like this!

I have been a production framer and Gen. Contractor in So. Cal. Hawaii, Oregon, Washington State and I have been doing this for 45+ years and I have never herd any of this guy's terminology ever!!! They are called as follows: Studs, Trimers, King Trimmers, Top Cripples, Bottom Cripples, Headers, Window Sill's, Bottom Plate, Framing Plate, and Top Plate not necessary in that order. please save yourself a lot of aggravation and chooses yourself another video because This guys lost in a lost world!
