Radim chose a route to a small peak. It was very challenging in the heat, but the nature was beautiful. We soon climbed up to the ridge, where we discovered interesting rock formations. The well was only a short distance away.

Within a few minutes it stopped raining. We debated over the meal about the right thickness of the steak and the name of one of our favorite butchers. The result: the optimal thickness of a proper steak is 2 fingers.
It rained for a while and then it was muggy again. After the meal we went to the valley to the stream.
We quickly set up our tents and it started raining again. It only stopped at night. I was looking forward to sitting by the fire, but I fell asleep quite quickly.
Radim got up early and started making wood. Breakfast is better prepared by the fire. It was foggy in the morning, the place was really magical. Strawberries and blueberries were all around us. Mint grew right by the stream. The smell reminds me of my childhood in the tourist section. We made mint tea and put the leaves in the camp sauna.
Radim started preparing the vegetable soup. He fried onions and bacon. He added water, peppers, mushrooms, carrots, parsley, a clove of garlic, salt and some flour. The result was amazing.
After some time I started preparing lunch. Bavarian dumplings with cheese, bacon and a little mint. I haven't made Bavarian dumplings in a long time. There were old rolls at home, so I thought of it.
We have a weird hobby, don't we?
We had our bellies full of goodies again. And above all, a lot of experiences in my head.

I live near the Odra and Opava rivers and often go to them to relax. I found that paddling in the canoe and taking in the scenery was a great way to relax and recharge for the days ahead.
I usually make a fire by the river, cook something or at least make a coffee and sometimes even sleep. It's a kind of paddling bushcraft :)
I'm a hiker and boater who likes to take pictures and sometimes film something along the way. Maybe it will be an inspiration for someone or he will look at places that are inaccessible to him. From a canoe, the perception of the landscape and nature is completely different.
