Hello, my canoe stayed at home again because Radim, Drobek, and I agreed to go on a hike in the mountains.
Translated by artificial intelligence:
We left the car in the village and then headed uphill, which seemed endless and steep. Hiking with Radim is always about great comfort, beautiful nature, great conversations, and of course, good food. It was the same this time. We hiked, chatted, admired the interesting nature, occasionally stopped to cook something, and of course, sat around the fire.
In the evening, we stopped at a beautiful rock, set up shelters, and made a fire. Back in Ostrava, we stopped at a butcher's shop and bought thick slices of bacon (two fingers thick) as usual. The preparation was according to Radim's recipe (just green pepper and salt, nothing more). The chat by the fire was great.
In the morning, we had breakfast, packed up, and cleaned the campsite thoroughly. We take pride in leaving no significant trace behind. Then we moved to another place. Along the way, there were truly beautiful rocks and views. The trees still have beautifully light green leaves, which will soon darken. This period is very beautiful, especially with sunny weather. The light in the forest is then amazing.
We revisited our old camping spots, where we once slept, and checked with hindsight if we really managed to erase all traces back then. Indeed, we did. No one would know that someone camped there. We really care about that.
In the afternoon, we arrived at a new campsite, set up shelters, a campfire, and a bench. Radim decided to sleep under the stars. Drobek offered to chop wood for the bench. I must admit I avoided it because last time I broke the tip of Radim's Fiskars saw :). Drobek succeeded this time too. Fiskars is a good saw, but the tips don't last.
In the morning, we cleaned everything again and went to the lookout point. We observed spruce pollen everywhere. Drobek had to constantly clean his glasses. In the distance above the forests, the pollen looked like smoke. At the lookout, Radim showed us how to slice bacon without a cutting board. That inspired me to show how to slice sausage without one. I cooked Chinese soup with Ostrava sausage "according to Pohlreich's recipe".
In the afternoon, we were already home. The hike was successful again.

Hello,

In general:
Take a virtual ride on a beautiful river in a canoe, Pálava.
You can see beautiful meanders, fallen trees over the river, bank erosion, etc.
I live near the rivers Odry and Opava and often go there to relax. I found that paddling in a canoe and observing the landscape is a great way for me to relax and recharge for the following days.
Usually, by the river, I make a fire, cook something, or at least make coffee, and sometimes even spend the night. It's kind of canoeing camping.
I am a hiker and paddler who likes to take pictures and occasionally shoot something along the way. Maybe it will be an inspiration for someone, or they will see places that are inaccessible to them. The perception of the landscape and nature from a canoe is completely different.
I'll be glad if you write me something. If I know, I'll gladly answer.
