I wonder what "international best-selling book" really means

I wonder what "Doctor" of Physical Therapy means? A PhD in Physical Therapy? What about a "Doctor" with a PhD in 17th Century English Literature?

@@sweatfootm I don't get your point. PhD means doctor. He has a PhD, therefore he's a doctor

Just means its the best-selling in its category in a point in time. I don' t think there's a ton of climbing injury books on the market :D so good on them for the marketing flex

He's a tenured professor at an elite R1 university in the US. There's plenty of places where questioning credentials is worthwhile...this ain't it. Very, very, very few people ever get those extremely competitive positions. I know because I'm trying to myself!

I am confused by the last statement: "pick one to add to your routine." Would it not make sense to do them all, to fully warm up the whole hand?

im one step ahead, my finger capsula is injured. its been over half a year now and in the morning the finger feels stiff. would these exercises help or strain the tissue?

I wonder how better this is for warming up than climbing easy routes for 20 or 30 minutes
@Benkkuful4 жыл бұрын
It's less random. Climbing easy routes can be good and it can be bad. If you climb jugs for 30 minutes it wont really prepare you for hard crimping for example, but if u do it with some thought it's all you need imo.

As an old dude, I find I really like exercises like this. My joints get creaky and doing range of motion stuff really helps them feel normal. The younger you get in the habit of doing them, the longer your joints will last.
