The best tip I can give anyone is to hose down their trailer AFTER LAUNCH. By the time you get home after a days fishing your trailer has sat in the stinking hot sun fermenting with salt all over it and by the time you get home the damage is done. As for your boat rinse it off after retrieval and flush motor before it dries with salt and wash with detergent and water at home again.
