If you have a 4gpm and throttle half way the dilution will be even stronger. This is how I’m going to do it. I am going to use a longer flexzilla air hose though so I can keep the bucket on the ground. Thanks for making the video 👍

When you say throttle down, what do you mean exactly? I have a 4GPM machine…I’m new to this.

The throttle is a lever on your motor that increases or decrease the power to your motor by putting more or less fuel, if you throttle down a bit it will suck less water and create a hotter mix

All we use are xjets. Used with the proportioner, you can regulate the mix for whatever you're doing. We also run 100ft of chem hose from the supply to the nozzle itself. Also, the xjet will pull the chem with the bucket on the ground.

It can work in a pinch. But be careful of all that over spray. Check out the modified X-jet

I modified my x-jet by taking off the nozzle it comes with and putting a quick connect on the end and using j-rods for the gpm range. You have to secure the xjet in a benchn vice and take a big wrench to get it loose.

Xjet is the same principle as down streaming - anything that draws via Venturi siphon and is AFTER the pump, it could be right after the pump before the high pressure hose or anywhere after that

I just want to wash my siding and roof once a year and I bought a 3000 PSI 2.0 GPM pressure washer, I was worried I'd have to buy a $600 entry level softwash machine, but I guess I could just Xjet with 4-5% SH. I'm still worried about the PSI being too high though. Thanks for any advice.

The x jeet would tame the psi down to like soft wash, still see how he is applying it,NOT a direct pressure, just like a rain over the roof, star on a small spot first , wet grass and windows and be careful with the overspray, good luck.

What kind of mix ratio do u think u applied? And did u rinse the roof after? Just wondering because where I live it doesn't rain much and there r no gutters on houses so all the run off would go straight in to the grass ,I guess I can just spray grass before and after if u r saying to rinse it off. All help would be appreciated I'm thinking about buying 1 of these because I don't know much about ratio for roofs and I tried my normal 2.5 gallons of 10.5%bleach to 17 gallons of water and dawn soap because my roof was really black and had a few light spots but all it did was turn roof brown so I rinsed it after 1 hr then applied it again waited another hr and rinsed it off but its like the mix isn't strong enough or something wich usually that mix is plenty strong enough for siding and other things. Trying on my own roof before selling job to someone else and getting a bad name or sued for what ever reason. Also I used my 25 gallon chemical sprayer with a 2.5gpm pump to apply and it just takes to long as well as it's another large thing I have to tote around
