@@GengisTV X-Jet or Backpack? The X-Jet is specific to your set up. 4/6/8 gpm what ever size machine you have. The Backpack sprayer is a simple Harbor Freight $20 one. I don't use it for spraying, it's just a container for the chemicals. It's so much easier than moving a bucket every few feet.

All we use are xjets. We do commercial hoa condos. We run 100ft of chem hose to it. The included proportioners allow you to adjust the ratio to whatever you need.

I haven't had any problems with the proportioners. Been running it for a few months. The draw rate is so high batch mixing without to them. Goes through a five gallon bucket in no time.

1 to 3 with 10% is only 2.5% when it hits the wall! I’d like a 1 to 1 if that’s possible. That would be great for doing roofs. But up here in the pacific NW, we gotta hit the roof with 6% or better. Sometimes I put 7-8% on really bad roofs. So ya HAVE to have a soft wash pump up here.

When you use that How much SH can be drawn from the bucket per minute? How do you control the concentration of SH? It will mix with the water from the high-pressure washer and then be sprayed onto the surface you want to clean. How do you know what percentage of the chemical you have sprayed?

If you are down streaming I will put 3 gallons of 10% sodium hypochlorite "" bleach into a 5 gallon bucket and fill the rest with water. Also I have a chemical ratio chart called how to mix a soft wash on my website billydavidsonvip.com This could help you mix the exact recipe for your chemicals

So glad someone explained the xjet to bad it's unavailable in Australia, but l have noticed with my pressure washer on the pump there is a place for me to connect my hose on and the other end goes in the soap bucket my pressure cleaner came with the hose and filter. Thanks for all that you have been sharing billy it has been a blessing for me in starting in pressure cleaning and soft washing in tweaking my business it's a work in progress. Soft washing is not to big over hear most people down under only know pressure cleaning. Which can be advantage if marketed well, and God is always putting it all together which l know it's by know accident which I could not have achieved with out. From what I've learned, i think that the purpose of the x jet is to keep you from having to run any chemicals through your pressure washing pump which could eventually shorten the life of your pump drastically.

Hi Billy Davidson, I'm seen a few guys jig their XJet between the gun and wand. Then they use the m5 adjustable nozzle on the tip. Does that change the mix ratio? I also seen a XJet 5 gallon container which is pretty cool. If it tips over it's covered. Better then an open 5 gallon, LOL... Do you have a link to your ratio chart? I will like to purchase it. @@timryan8774 He never did, but I found other videos that did. If you put the X-Jet between the gun and wand it will not affect the ratio. Just control the stray in a long wand. I hope that helps.

Yes, you can use the X jet at the end of your pressure washing wand and run it directly to a bucket that you carry around. A garbage can on a dolly full of chemical works as well. You can also use it with approximately 50 feet of siphon hose.

Sometimes if you're using sodium hypochlorite it is inherently highly corrosive but I think if you're using stainless steel it could definitely work!

It's very possible! With a 40 gallon per minute Pressure Washer you should be able to reach about 35 feet

If you put 12.5% in a bucket and siphon straight out of the bucket, you'll receive about a 3% out of your nozzle with a double or triple application you could achieve great results

Question. When using the open orfice and wanting to determine my mix, the open is a 1.6 - 1 proportion. Do I take my starting SH mix, say 6.5%, and divide it by 1.6, or 2.6? Everyone seems to say something different. Thank you.

Your ratio is 1 to 1.6. So that’s a strong ratio but divide 1 by 1.6 which gives you .625 or something and then take that multiplied by your SH solution %… in your case .625 x 6.5 is about 4% solution getting sprayed on surface

Approximately 3% will be pushed out the nozzle. At 100% power setting on the engine and pump. If you lower the throttle on your engine you could approximately achieve 4% coming out of the nozzle. The nozzle has a drawl rate of 1 to 3 ratio meaning it will dilute the solution and mix it with water as it is expelled out of a nozzle

Rookie tip - 5 gallon water jug. Use the small hole on top, feed the hose through the cap, cap the jug off with the cap, and you can move it around without worry. A full 5 gallon jug is 42 pounds, but it can go quick.

Hey that is a great question! Yes you will not be able to find one that's rated for that much psi but you can use one that is rated at 4000 psi if you dial down your RPMs or your pressure just slightly to get it under 4000 PSI. It will still work phenomenal

I noticed that a lot of people get that ratio mixed up. 3 to 1 is a total of 4 parts. (Kinda like 3+1=4) So... yes you are correct. 1/4 of 10% SH would actually be spraying 2.5% SH on your surface.

I have a 4 GpM. It says for a 4GPM without proportioner it’s a 1.6-1 ratio. If I’m using 10% SH divide it by 1.6 it comes out to 6.25% someone please confirm if correct. Is this how you determine your mix. SH % divide by ratio number??

Right about 3% if you are running full throttle on your pressure washer. If you run half throttle on your pressure washer, you could achieve 4% out of the nozzle.

Im only cleaning driveways, pathways etc and i understand most of the time 4% is sufficient. would you pre treat and post treat using the same mix? or would either one be weaker? Also, one more question, sorry man... do you rinse if you post treat? Leave it dry or leave it for 10-15mins and rinse? Thank you so much!!! @@billydavidsonvip

@@3OFU5 after you post treat, the general rule is to leave it there and let it dry then the sunlight, or either rain will cause the sodium hypochlorite to become ineffective after about four hours. Pre-treat or post tread usually only requires about 3% So using that, Nazo would be great! If you are pre-treating allow a minimum of 20 minutes before you start pressure washing. The rule of thumb is if the solution is still wet that means it's still working. Although you don't want to wait around for several hours after you pre-treat to start pressure washing Have you checked out some of our training classes? I'll put the website below. Naturally it will draw 3% SH at those ratios so to get your 1% fill your bucket 2/3 water. 1/3 SH I downstream at 2% Havn't killed a plant yet wouldnt go higher than that tho
