I liked the historical background of the lentils, and how the tumeric can balance out some of the impurities in the blood.

I apologize I didn't mean to be rude. I was a vegetarian for half my life and a bit of a gemaphobe That's my problem alone.... I'm sure plenty enjoy all the extra unnecessary history. Just not me. Lol...

I'm sorry.....but SOOOO many words....I just want to know how to clean them. I have kids and just want info needed...and I definitely didn't need to hear about rats passing on them. I now want to throw them away because how can I eat them thinking of rat piss in my mouth?..... now I just won't eat them or feed them to my kids. Thanks

Sorry you feel disappointed...some people actually enjoy words and learning and food. You can easily buy canned lentils then you dont have to learn to wash them properly. this video is for people who enjoy food history and culture. in the event, here's how. Soak for an hour. Wash and keep washing till the water is clear. So wash, pour off water, wash again, till clear. Why? There can be rat urine on your organic fruit and veg, on your rice. It happens. We live in an organic world full of other animals, esp insects and mammals. . Storage. That is why you must always wash, wash, and wash againg... Thanks for commenting...
