Nice simple video, thank you for making it! What kind of soap did you use on the leather? Also, i find hand washing laces works best! You can really work in the soap & get the dirt out that way.. but you make a good point about damaging the laces-they look much higher quality compared to copas. Havent had a morelia yet, need to grab a pair of those yellow ones. Do you ever wear these boots on artificial grass? My white copa mundials get nearly black after each match. Any advice other than stay away from turf??😂The only thing that gets the black residue off that i have tried is mink oil, & a magic eraser for the tougher spots

Hey Samuel my dear, many thanks for your special comment. I like when people engage and give constructive feedback to the videos. My objective was to share my experience after learning. Hand washing the laces is indeed the best option. The Morelia's laces are made of good quality cotton, they get very dirty if you play in soft wet ground (earth dirt), hence that's why I put them in the washing machine once a month with a bit of whitener (the whitener doesn't spoil the cotton). The soap I use for cleaning the leather is always normal or neutral soap, however never use a soap that contains whitener as it completely dries the leather and destroys it (my real experience with it). I used my Morelia's on turf, artificial grass and natural grass, and I always clean them the same way. I understand what you say about the black rubber on the Copas, I always had a similar issue, but will tell you a secret: happens with the Morelia's as well (a little bit less, but it does), and the way I clean it is just by having a training session on natural grass 🙂 - I mean, playing in natural grass (what I do every week, once a week) naturally cleans the black residue/dirt of the black rubber (it's better than trying to clean by hand and spending a lot of time on it), then after the training on grass, it's easy to clean the mud :)

@@rodgedefender much love, thank you for the response! & i am happy i commented, this is a wonderful tip. I have always preferred to play on natural grass, just limited grass fields close by to me, but i will be making my way to some grass to play-them-clean! Would you recommend the new cross stitching on the morelia, or the older stitching pattern? For a first time user? Or i guess- what do you prefer?
