If you want to use this type of technique while camping and don't want to bring all your bottles with you save space in your backpack. Is to presoak cotton rounds or use reusable pads in the products you're going to use and stick them in separate baggies for each type, very lightweight, works really well. I personally don't use a balm type product when traveling. So my routine includes a waterproof makeup remover (very similar to the two part type show), micellar water, toner, then moisturizer.

If I don't feel like it is an extra step, I'll just take my shirt off. Depends on how late it is and if I waited to the point of being exhausted to do my skincare [I actually try to avoid waiting so long to cleanse at night now and am attempting to wash off my suncreen around dinner time or a couple of hours before bed... better to cleanse earlier than be too tired to cleanse at all].

On lazy days, which is often for me, I use reusable cotton pads and micellar water. I do this 2x to get a really clean face and I always use the Cerave Micellar Water. It has ceramides and is nice and gentle and doesn't require any water or washing off. One bottle is only $11 and it lasts me about 2 to 3 months with daily use.

Thank you so much for doing this! I've seen a few other videos that basically say makeup wipes are useless. ... and conversely I've wondered, if the oil cleanser is SO good at removing anything oil soluble, how is it gentler for the skin? Sure skin will feel less dry because it leaves a film of whatever oily esters or oil it's based on, but presumably it's removed most of your precious ceramides, then, right? i often associated using an oil cleanser with using a water based cleanser right after and I didn’t really like it because I feel like it took so much effort, my eyes tend to sting, and it made a bit of a mess to do so. I usually just use a water-based cleanser but I forgot it at home and only had an oil cleaner with me. I was considering not washing my face at all until i saw this video and used a similar method. Definitely helped a lot and now I don’t need to feel like i wasted my money on an oil cleanser since I have a new way to use than what’s it’s traditionally shown from ads or influencers. I'm in Australia.. at Daiso they sell terry head bands and I use them around my wrists push them up a little then lay a hand towel down on my basin and wear a Daiso headband or hair turban (almost everything is $2.80) this really stops water running down my arms as they are doubled over like big bulky sweatbands and trap it then I pop them on the radiator and wash every few days... To avoid wet sleeves & a wet shirt front I just don't wear a shirt when I wash my face/brush my teeth.
