Any one wondering how to watch manga cannon only season 1 episodes 1-17, 2011 ovas wont mess it up plus the kuro episode is based on special chapat of the manga, (movie is optional but reallyis good time with hiroyuki sawano's best work in my opinion), season 2, season 2 ova's and then volume 10 of the manga onwards because the new studio messed up hard left they left out the whole of volume 9, and most of volume 10 which both had solid moments of character building for Rin and Yukio which is gonna bite season 4 in the ass so read the manga it is a masterpiece

I read that the Episodes 18-25 of the first season are just fillers. So season 2 takes place after episode 17 season 1. But it seems like the have also rewritten some of those last canon episodes for example after Rin lost control of his flames and got taken to the vatican so its just confusing
