10:25 Dino Thunder was a guilty pleasure season. 1 brought back the late Jason David Frank as Tommy Oliver, rip my ranger fam, and 2 it learns from the past but lives in the now vibe. Even showing the cast watching the super Sentai source Akaranger in the lost and found translation which was dubbed similar to the ultraman Tiga episodes XD very much meta and when over my head as a kid but appreciated as a adult Tokuzatsu veteran 😅😅😅😅

12:48 rpm was tbh my least remembered season at the time, also aired around the same time Kamen Rider Dragon Knight was airing via cw4kids block in Saturday morning, but the last Disney adapted season before saban revival era ! But that's a whole other thing ❤❤❤💙💙💙💛💛💛

I love Mystic Force and Jungle Fury personally for magic and martial arts respectively. Plus they're truly standalone seasons with no connections outside of the Mystic Mother but that's not gonna distract a first time viewer and for lapsed fans who never went past Mighty Morphin it's a neat callback.

As a long time veteran of the morning grid, I have a huge HUGE history with the Power Rangers. From mighty morphin , to lost galaxy , time force Dino Thunder all the way til cosmic fury ! Yes it's madness but I don't regret the years of watching them just like Pokemon and Yu-Gi-Oh eras

14:24 i never knew about the extended cut legendary battle DVD until now XD might try to find it on ebay or Amazon. Lastly loved dino charge but way too many rangers similar to the extended spd season imo but good nonetheless. Dino fury cosmic fury was a mixed bag of continuity callbacks and too much happening in the later season . Said to be last one that will use sentai suit footage and mech footage from hasbro.

12:00 operation overdrive was a mixed one for me in high school but a decent one. The once a ranger special brought back Johnny yong Bosch , who had also been doing voice actor work after leaving the Power Rangers cast in turbo, along with Tori ninja Storm, kira dino thunder, mystic force and a new red spd ranger who was previously the green spd ranger lol odd but cool

Awesome video! After watching the new Netflix special, I was thinking about getting back into the franchise, and this is super helpful! I walked away from Power Rangers during the original series and had absolutely no clue that the series became so... epic in the past thirty years. I'm really glad you seemed to understand how overwhelming all of this can look to someone who stopped paying attention at some point in the mid-90s!

Thank you for doing this video man. Even as a long time Power Rangers, it's nice to have a complete overview of the TV shows, movies, and comics. I don't have the opportunity to introduce new people to the franchise so I haven't really thought about what a good jumping on point is since I started with a random episode of Mighty Morphin season 1 when it was first airing.

Fun fact: MMPR debuted literally 3 days before I was born, so I basically age w/ the PR franchise... When it turns 30 I turn 30. 🤣 Does Boom reprint those comic Deluxe Editions once in awhile or are they a one time thing? Was thinking about slowly, but surely, getting the comics that way.

Lost galaxy I always thought of as an epilogue to the Zordon era considering everything that happened and the characters that continued on.

@@Soundout12 Lost Galaxy feels in a way like a coda to the Zordon era. The started having an all-new cast but still kept the continuity going like in "To The Tenth Power" and "The Power Of Pink" plus Karone's tenure as the 2nd Pink Galaxy Ranger.
