This really makes me wonder how many adults are spending a significant amount of time watching old cartoons. I grew up with this show but I don't really feel compelled to watch it now in my middle age.

What's legality behind Media Blasters releasing a bluray rip on their own? Wouldn't they HAVE to use the encode Toei gave them? Shout seemed unwilling to go this extra mile sometimes.

I didnt know they backpedaled to the standard edition being the same disc as this version. I know World was originally going to be exclusive to this version but then in one of their updates they talked about how with all the commentaries they said they would make those exclusive to the Elite version and have World be on the standard version. Guess i missed the update where they said that.

Wait, your slipcase doesn't have the gray dots all over it like mine does????? Does that mean it isn't supposed to be there? The wide release will be all of the defective discs. 🙂 I see you had the same thoughts I have about Black - Kuuga. I found that pretty damn awesome.

While this is a very good video, I feel it was absolutely necessary to mention music changes in the dub that really impact the atmosphere, and negatively might I add. The dialogue also harms the atmosphere. I’m not quite sure how you can have a professional and supposedly impartial view on the dubs without mentioning how harmful they are to the original stories.

Kind of an underwhelming Limited edition but I know this was Media Blasters first go at something like this so it's understandable and hopefully in the future they can offer a bit more. If this was a little beefier of a LE I'd have bought it but as it is, it would have not been worth what it would have cost to import it. I will definitely be picking up the basic release however.

The Giant-Size Marvel Legend is objectively the best Marvel Legends one. My favorite is the X-Men '97 Storm with the comic Storm's head and some white hands from another female figure. Both of them are on flight stands with lightning effects. Mafex Storm is neat, but too short to scale with other figures, even within Mafex.

Idk if you like it or not, but you should talk about Initial D because the ONLY way to watch the shows and movies is either in KZbin for free or on dvd. And it’s not even on streaming services too.

Despite the audio issues this is a great release although this is a minor thing I kinda wish they included the Kamen Rider SD Strange Man Spider OVA as a bonus feature but I understand why it wasn't included cause it is a miniscule thing.

Great review! If you get the chance to see this comment I have two very important questions I'd like to ask: 1. Have you also gotten the Blazar Blu-Ray? (Cuz Ik some other people got there's at the same time as this) 2. Are they gonna be releasing more of these? I didn't get one cuz there was no official release date and I've never gotten anything from them prior. But after seeing this I would like to get it. And do u know if there's a release date for the next batch of these

What a fantastic release! Hearing about the audio situation, it makes me feel better about not having received my copy yet. I also just got a confirmation that V3 is shipping! My copy should arrive in the next week or two. Im so glad the franchise is getting consistent releases! Hopefully moving forward, more of Toei's hero content gets announced for the west!

Let me guess, the content on the discs are exactly the same as the original releases, and the Lionsgate logo has been left intact for most of the discs.

it was quite common at the time for toys made for this series to have DVDs bundled in with them i wonder if that contributed at all to them coming out of order initially

You don't have both the brown leather jacket hugh jackman & the yellow suit hugh jackman yet? Neither the old man logan hugh jackman. You only have the white tank top hugh jackman. You need to have all 4 hugh jackmans. 😂

@@Soundout12 Good thing marvel legends' heads are all swappable. this logan's face is nonchalant. But I have the teeth gritting face from the white tank top Logan & the shouting face from the brown leather jacket Logan. Time to swap heads! 🤣 Also, i don't care about movie accuracy. After swapping the sleeveless arms from either the white tank top Logan body or the GI Joe Tomax/Xamot body into this yellow suit Wolverine, I would glue those two blue shoulder pads back on the black butterfly joints while having sleeveless arms for comic book & animated accuracy. Red metallic liquid chrome marker for bloody claws/blades, silver to make them shiny & gold for deadpool's guns/katana handles, dremel drill for suit damaged with bullet holes, & black wash acrylic paint brush for more detailed textures. All we need are 2 angry heads with cowel on; - 1 teeth gritting, & 1 screaming. 😅

I still can't believe things like this exist. If I submitted this for work, regardless of job, multiple times and it was wrong every time, i'd be out of a job. These are DVDs not furniture, to get a complete product as intended, assembly shouldn't need be required.

For years I've held onto an almost delusional hope that they'll somehow sell enough of these to get to Go-Busters (my favorite Sentai and one of my favorite toku period) but it's seeming slimmer and slimmer lol

As someone from the scandi side(sweden), It was almost Impossible to get these figures my parents had to import them from the us wich was expensive, Its a miracle that they got as many as they did, Eventuelly imports wasn't possible wich only left ebay left, Buying something from ebay in sweden is a 50/50 scam even if the person isnt a scammer, Its too far to ship most of the time so you just lose your money.

What saddens me is that then these collections don't sell and then Paramount thinks they shouldnt bother with catering to the TMNT fans since it's not profitable
