Check out the HDMI Link App here: www.meta.com/experiences/app/7452106424824357 I’m actually using this so much more now. I can’t wait to use it while traveling to CES in a few months! As always, thanks for watching. I hope this helps!

Love this bro!!! I just bought a new adapter that ill be showcasing soon on that channel that simplified the setup for me! I've tried all of these as well! Great explainer video!

Nice vid thank you. I was thinking if a type c splitter would solve the ugreen problem. With a splitter on quest you can charge quest and pass video by ugreen cable and ugreen cable can charge iPhone or what you plug in. So you can choose to charge everything. Or am I wrong?

I can’t wait for the day we can just wirelessly stream whatever we want as long as we have a valid account.
@TheConstruct_VRАй бұрын
@@electronicsguru4050 seriously! With Remote Desktop on the horizon (👈🏽 see what I did there?) we are almost at that point. If you can see a desktop on your headset remotely then technically you can see anything. But it needs to be easier… one click.

As always Jason, great content. Ideally we need Apple to accept the inevitable and go ahead and deliver an Apple TV app for Horizon OS. There is no critical mass of Vision OS in the market, however, there certainly is wrt Horizon OS devices. I for one would sign up today for an Apple TV+ subscription if they would open up the immersive content to Horizon OS via an Apple TV app. Just about every device I own has an Apple logo but for my MQ3. In our house we have 2 macbook pro's, a Macbook Air, 2 ipads and 4 iphones.

@@eighties8 yes, we consumers get caught in the middle of the brand battles. I’m a heavy Apple user as well but the AVP’s price point made it such a low cost to value decision … I wouldn’t dare get one. For now I do enjoy streaming Apple TV on quest… and I guess with a phone attached to the side it almost feels like an AVP with its battery brick 😅 Thanks for watching, happy to help.

i hope the next quest has a HDMI port so you could use it as a monitor without setup or sign in

I doubt Mets will go that route. There are glasses like the Lenovo think reality or X Real that do this today

I use the Apple TV app on my PS5 all the time and it has access to my purchases library. It makes no sense why the website doesn’t have the same capabilities

Yeah Apple is being very Apple with it for sure. ( I don't hate Apple but they do this kind of stuff )

@@TheConstruct_VRI totally get what you mean! They make great products and software, but their lack of inclusiveness with other platforms is frustrating. I wish that the new Windows integration that came out was available for the Mac also. I know it’s on the Vision Pro, but it’s just waaaay too expensive.

Help! I cannot get this to work, tried the hagibis switch dock cord and the anker adapter. Can you please advise what would be a good solution? Hagibis also sells another cord that is identical talks about it being a true capture card, not a switch dock cord. Please advise if you can, thank you!

@@filmguyje I wonder if not all higibis cables are created equal. 🤔 What’s happening when you try to connect? The HDMI link app doesn’t recognize any input?

@@TheConstruct_VR Another thing I just noticed is that the switch dock cord I received did not have the USB A cap like you have on yours, but the one I just ordered did have it just like yours. Will let you know next week what the verdict is!!

Correct me if I’m wrong (I don’t have a Q3 yet) but can’t you just sign into your Apple TV account through a browser and watch your purchased items from there?
@TheConstruct_VR14 күн бұрын
No you can’t pull up purchased iTunes content through a browser. It has to be an Apple account. You can watch Apple TV streaming service on any browser but you have to be on an iPhone iPad or Apple TV to watch those purchased shows, videos movies etc
